I stayed in Vain Boutique Hotel in two opportunities between August and September. Both times were excellent experiences. Rooms are comfortable, functional and clean. Staff is always nice and willing to help. WiFi connection worked properly. Breakfast was just amazing, one of the best I've ever had; if you have the opportunity, try the "Huevos Benedict". Location was good since... More

Probably a hot tip, when it was new, but now you feel that it has seen its best days and living of the past. It's still an ok average hotel with very friendly staff and a good location, but if you're looking for an exclusive boutique experience you won't find it at this place. Overall it's a good option, but... More

Dear guest, We would like to thank you for choosing us during your stay in Buenos Aires! Monthly remodelations have been done since the hotel opened 6 years agoas well as modernization of the building. And maybe, that was what you had seen during your stay, we are really sorry about that. We really look forward to have you as... More

I moved to this hotel because I wanted to be closer to the 'subte' station in Plaza Italia. I found the location to be good but the hotel to be generally average. It seemed like they'd not really made much of an effort with the upkeep, it was quite bare, furniture was chipped, I had a stain on my sheet,... More

Thank you for your comment, it always useful to have a feedback of our guests. We actually do our best to keep with the maintenance of the hotel. Moreover, we have maintenance staff working all year-round, especially in low season. So, maybe what you saw was actually "work in progress" regarding maintenance... we do our best for it to not... Dear Jorge, We would like to thank you for choosing us! We also really appreciate your review, it help us to keep on improving our service. There were two typical italian houses before the hotel that were unified. They did their best to mantain the style on the rooms. That is why all rooms are different on sizes and have their... More

I emphasise breakfast as I found it to be very different in Argentina than what we have in Europe. Options were very limited in the other hotels and this one had great choice, delicious alternatives. What is impressive is the professionalism of staff, they smile and help. Argentinians are generally helping, but the staff here also knew very well how... More

Rooms good size, clean and comfy. Attentive staff, good breakfast. Good location. Helpful, knowledgeable receptionist. One thing was the smell, they sprayed the room to make it smell nice (i suppose that was the intention), but it just smelt sugary, upsetting stomach. We left the windows open all night, I could still smell the sugary spray. I suppose you can... More

My partner had a conference in BA so our stay was part work/part holiday. In a city that can at times feel unsafe, we were very happy to be staying in the Palermo Soho area, at VAIN. The hotel was secure, and the staff super friendly and helpful. A few members of staff actually very much enhanced our stay of... More

My very short stay at Vain was a nice experience. My only criticism could be that my room did not have a window - avoid booking romm no 1. It is a blind room with a rather noisy airconditioning unit that kicks in periodically. otheriwse a great stay - staff very accomodating to my needs like an early breakfast and... More

A boutique hotel in an excellent location near Subte (Metro), in Palermo, which is an area which has excellent reasonably priced restaurants and cafes on every street. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and very attractive, with wifi. Breakfast is included in the price and consists of a choice of anything from their menu. Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
