Cannot speak highly enough of friendly and professional staff, Gerald and Vikki, who made me most welcome. Only stayed one night in transit from Dublin to Ushuaia, but would like to have stayed a week. Bedroom fine if a little noisy as it's directly out on the street. Very relaxing sn deck with jacuzzi and garden at the rear, an...

Dear Guest. Thank you for staying with us during your visit in Argentina! Our staff appreciates the opportunity to make a stay of every guest a unique experience. Thanks to your feedback we are solving the noise problems by putting in our windows a special double glazing especially in our rooms facing the street. Thanks for your beautiful words! We...

It seems that some architect worked hard (and successfully!) to create an agreeable ambiance. True, the rooms are rather small (Obut there is office space downstairs) and the old-fashioned keys are a challenge - but they are also quite charming! The space reserved for breakfast naturally transforms itself intoi a living room with books, magazines, fireplace and a TV which...

What a lovely hotel in the heart of Las Cañitas neighborhood. This small three story building is tastefully decorated, mixing modern and Louis XVI furnishing. The garden and terrace, full of manicured fruit trees and plants are the perfect places to relax or read a book. We stayed for one night at the suite overlooking the inner garden and we...

I stayed in this hotel for just under a week. The purpose of my trip was mostly business, though I tacked on a weekend stay because it was my first time in Buenos Aires. The hotel is located on a vibrant street in the Las Canitas barrio, which is quite close to Palermo. To be honest, I vacillated between 3...

I stayed in a room with two twin beds. The beds were quite small (smaller than the twin beds in the US and in other hotels in Argentina where I stayed). The rooms were small too. Depending on the fare, breakfast will not be included. The good part about the hotel is that it is local in an area close...

I enjoyed my stay at 248. I had room #10. I agree with the other reviewers about the front of the hotel being very noisy, especially thurs/fri/sat/sun nights. The door to the hamburger place downstairs goes down at 1am and it woke me up everytime. I booked through tripadvisor, recommend you book directly with the hotel as you will get...

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
