Room really dated (especially the bathroom). Noisy if on the street side and in our case because of the airconditioning that we could not turn off. We only slept because we were really tired after our flight from Europe. On the plus side: excellent location for city center and puerto madero, both within 10 mins walk. Breakfast choices ample with different types of bread, cheese/ham ,cereal, fruit and pastries. And really nice staff that gave us a room at 9 am after our night flight. All in all ok for basic tourist needs, but I think there are nicer choices out there. Will stay in Recoleta area upon return to BA.
It has a good location, breakfast is good enough, there is not bell boy, stairs were not accesible, stuff was very helpfull, lifts are too small, carpet at corridor was horrible, it stiked, AND we had a serious problem. they did not inform us about de Buenos Aires Marathon ( 42km ) and we lost our flight to Bariloche because we could not arrived at the Airport. So I would recommend them ( managers) to care more about "events"in the city, train better the employees, teach them to talk to guests it.
We were booked into this hotel by our tour operator. The hotel was described as being decorated in lively colours with rooms that are spacious and sound proof with king size beds, comfortable work areas with large work desks. Not one of these things were correct. We had a room that had less than 50cm each side of a double bed, no work area or desk, a bathroom that was dated and a bath shower that was a slipping hazard to get in and out of, with sound coming from the elevator we backed on to and traffic and general noise from windows that did not keep any noise out. No complementary water and price charged for what was in the mini bar was excessive. Only good things were a comfortable bed and a really nice guy that checked us in.
Please stay away from this place - Little value for the price. There are much better options for the same price in the city. - Although the Hotel is located near important places (Florida street and Corrientes Avenue), the street of the hotel is quite dark, narrow and just seems dangerous at night - You cannot order an Uber to pick you at the hotel. the meeting points availables are at least 3 blocks away - Small rooms - Rude staff - No control over AC in the room. the staff was not even able to turn it off in my room - Mixed instructions - i received at least 3 different hours to check out - Internet worked just in gaps of 5 minutes Really stay away from this place
The hotel is on the edge of a rather run down area, with adverts for prostitutes and several sex shops. It is an easy walk to the centre of town and the hop on hop off bus routes. The rooms are very small, dated and provide no where to open a large suitcase and extremely limited hanging space (only 3 hangers provided). The bed was a small double, but reasonably comfortable, the bathroom was small with outdated plumbing and a very awkward layout. Breakfast was adequate, but with a limited choice
