I travel a lot and I love to try boutique and themed hotels, and Home was an absolute winner. The staff, the location, the design and the atmosphere were all incredible, and it helped to give me a sense of being part of the rhythm of Palermo even though I was a tourist with only a few days to explore...

I highly recommend Home Hotel, a perfectly stylish hotel with cozy rooms, delicious breakfasts in the garden and unbeatable location. All the staff were so engaging we felt like we were among friends. Thank you Romina and Flor for helping me plan a birthday surprise and thanks to the rest of the staff for all your recommendations and kindness. I...

Oasis in large city with lovely quiet rear garden and pool. Rooms fine. Breakfast excellent. Staff spoke good english and very helpful with ideas on what to do. Lent us Metro passes. Booked us restaurants in the evening (excellent choices). And got up very early when we were leaving to give us a bit of breakfast. We couldn't fault the...

First place we stayed when just arriving BA. Can't say enough about the wonderful staff and service! So accommodating, friendly and helpful. The hotel is a beautiful little gem with lovely, comfortable rooms and a great location. But what truly made this stay so memorable was Guiyermo, the concierge - a warm welcome when we arrived, restaurant and city tips,...

Home Hotel knows how to welcome you and make you feel right at home. The rooms are comfortable, wi-fi is available everywhere, and the staff is the most accommodating group of individuals I have ever encountered. The location is also ideal whether you are here on business or leisure. Oh, and how could I forget about the friendly cat who...

The Home Hotel, in the trendy Palermo-Hollywood neighborhood of Buenos Aires, is a great place to stay. Staff is friendly and courteous. Breakfast is great. Bartender is a real mixologist! Rooms were just big enough to be comfortable. Great neighborhood, too.

We stayed 3 nights at the Home Hotel in the Palermo Hollywood area. The neighbor hood was great with easy access to so many good bars and restaurants as well as easy taxi rides to other neighborhoods in Buenos Aires. The hotel staff were excellent, very helpful, informative and totally committed to making our stay very pleasant. The hotel decor...

We had one of the two-story lofts which had a sitting area that converted to a bedroom and a kitchen downstairs and a bedroom upstairs. A garden and patio were outside the sliding glass doors on both the first floor and second floors. Very comfortable for our 5-night stay. The English-speaking staff was friendly and helpful, giving us tips where...

The friendly, helpful staff, mid-century furnishings and hip vibe make this a wonderful place for an extended stay. We had a loft room which would have been especially nice for a week or more. Great breakfast with beautiful presentation. Those with a love of affordable style will especially appreciate this treasure.

My boyfriend and I spent three great nights here at the end of October for his birthday. The common areas of the hotel are decorated in a mid-century style and were comfortable to hang out in while waiting for a cab or for friends to arrive. The garden and pool area is spectacularly lush, and somehow there was never any...

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
