We are located in Buenos Aires, in the historical neighbourhood of San Telmo which is near the Obelisk, Plaza de Mayo, Congress Square, Puerto Madero and the popular street 'Caminito" in La Boca. Lina's Tango Guest House is of "Casa Chorizo" architecture which is typical of San Telmo and Palermo at the end of the 18th Century. The rooms are arranged one after the other, connected by a door and down was the bathroom and the kitchen. As the sausages are tied. Each space or room could convert sleeping room, living or eating room, according to the necesiddes of each family. Around the colourful patio, which is filled with plants and memorabilia, there are four unique rooms. Here on the patio, the guests have the opportunity to meet, relax and enjoy new friendships. Hospitality is most important to us. We love to share the culture of Buenos Aires and especially the Tango.

San Telmo
Characterized by cobblestones and narrow streets, San Telmo is defined by the tango, the dance that made Buenos Aires world-famous. Tango is a fusion of many different cultures: a true child of immigration, much like the city itself. Nowadays, it comes alive after dark in the milongas (dance parties) attended by both locals and visitors alike, who dance until the wee hours of the morning. During the day, the antique shops and classic cafés and bars around Plaza Dorrego dominate the scene. The emblematic Bar Plaza Dorrego, with its green awnings, checkered tile floors, and wooden interiors, takes you back in time the moment you step inside. For true porteño traditions, San Telmo is the place to be.

Francisco was a great host who helped me have a smooth stay. Location is great in the middle of San Hello, easy to walk around and catch metro if needed. I would recommend to anyone looking for a home away from home.

Warm place with indoor terrace and the most welcome host, Lina. She makes you feel at home immediately! Breakfast is served at a large table, so you can meet other travellers if you like. Close to metro, shops, market, restaurants, bars.

We stayed at Lina's for 2 nights. We loved San Telmo (one of our favourite places in Buenos Aires), and Lina's is in the heart of San Telmo. Lina gave us good recommendations for a nearby restaurant and a milonga. She also organised an asado for the guests over the weekend,

We were happy with the welcome of Line. She was willing to give info about the best places to go (tango dancing). Breakfast is a nice occasion to chat with other guests. Nice little kitchen and opportunity to wash your stuff.

I was only at Lina's for a night, but loved my stay there. It's in the heart of San Telmo, and barely five minutes from the famous San Telmo antique market. Lina was very accommodating in letting me check in in the middle of the night, for which I was greatly appreciative.

WiFi was very stable and reliable all the time. I was only surfing with my mobile phone and the speed was really good. But I can't tell an exact bandwidth and speed when working with a notebook etc

Hay la posibilidad de alquilar mensualmente? Gracias!
"We had the room below next to the patio. This was a quiet room without much street noise. "
"We stayed in room 3 with a beautiful private bathroom. The bed was very comfy"
"Ground floor opening onto courtyard "
"All of the rooms are great, but if you stay in the tree house, it's specially quiet (although the internet connection was weak for streaming, it was good for emails). The spiral metal stairs were scary at first but quite doable once I got used to them. Stay on the ground floor is you have issues with sharp stairs or heights. Stay on the tree house room if you can manage physically and love privacy and quiet!"
"if you don't want to be in the one room at ground level with a barred window facing the street, ask for a room facing the courtyard. "
