The hotel used to be good many years ago but now it's an old building with dirty rooms. The room had a terrible smell of cigarettes although it's a non smoking room, I complained but they didn't allow me to change rooms and just gave me a deodoriser for cigarettes! I would not stay there again.

Don't let the photos fool you. This used to be a nice hotel in 90's decade, and although the people and service is good, the facilities are not so. Location it's its only plus, but with a couple of more bucks pay something better and comfortable. Some of the actual pictures shared, see them and judge yourself!

Good location hotel is dated but has a certain charm to it. The hotel was clean throughout. I found the bed in my room quite small though. WiFi was fairly good apart from peak times 5-8 pm when it was unusable although there are 2 PC's in the lobby to use free of charge. Staff were fairly helpful but lacked...

This small hotel is very centrally located in downtown Buenos Aires. The rooms are a bit small (think Europe rather than South America), but serviceable, with good beds. Old-school elevators with gates add to the charm. Internet is painfully slow, so if that is a priority this hotel is not for you. There is also little in the way of...

We arrived at the end of July and booked in for 3 nights. We ended up staying for about 8 nights. The rooms were huge, with a bedroom, living room, entrance hall, and kitchen, all for under $50. This midrange hotel is located in the microcentre, near Florida Street, and a walk to congress and the main Plaza de Mayo...

If this is the last available hotel in Bs. As. book it. But there are better hotels in the same price range and much better for a little more money. Location, in the center of Downtown Bs.As, is its main feature. My room was small, furniture poor, a stool instead of a chair, outdated TV set. Bathroom clean but small....

The hotel is very old and the elevator is a bit scary and very noisy (will probably wake you up in the night). However, the room is huge (mine had a fully equipped kitchen), clean and wifi works fine. Breakfast is also nice and staff is amazing and super helpful. If you are looking for the best value hotel in...

Staying in San Nicolas

Neighborhood Profile
San Nicolas
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks. The financial district is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours. After dark, the hubbub migrates to Corrientes Ave., where theater lovers might start their evening at a play and end it in one of the many traditional pizzerias nearby. During the day, Corrientes is known for its many bookshops and classic cafés, which are located just minutes away from some famous landmarks, like the Obelisco, Avenida 9 de Julio, and the Teatro Colon.
