When Hotel Madero was being designed, we wanted it to reflect the style and sophistication of the Puerto Madero neighborhood we call home.At Hotel Madero one of the main challenges with the design of our hotel in Buenos Aires was to be able to incorporate functional diversity with space unity, to provide for flexible usage of the space and to integrate each area easily.Hotel Madero Buenos AiresThe Argentine studio Abulafia Figoni Prado was hired to do the interior design of our hotel in Buenos Aires. The project incorporates current and evolving spaces, places where people really want to stay and to feel comfortable in their environs. The intention was to design a hotel in Buenos Aires with atmosphere, generating a rich interior architecture through a suggestive way of illumination, and combining rich materials and textures so that each of the spaces has its own identity. The acquisition of the contemporary art is also very significant. Paintings and sculptures were incorporated, most of them from local artists

This is a perfectly fine hotel. It is clean and located in the safest neighborhood in Buenos Aires. Sebastian at the concierge desk is a true gem. He is thoughtful and engaged. He made us feel much better about a few situations that arose with a last minute concert rescheduling and details that followed and offered some good recommendations. The decor is modern and interesting, but lacking in craftsmanship and accordingly showing wear quickly. The food is inconsistent. Some things are quite good, especially the soups and the risottos but others are not very good at all. Generally, service in Argentina can be slow and the Madero does not break the mold on this. We accidentally left an item behind and could have retrieved it if we would have received an email about it within 24-48 hours but it took longer than that just to say, hey you forgot something. Most hotels offer to mail back in that circumstance, but the Madero only offers the opportunity to pick up, not much of an idea for an international hotel. I would stay again, but it is not a hotel that you dream about having a chance to visit again. And I would definitely stay away from the hotel food as much as possible.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. The hotel is close to the river in a quieter part of the city but walikng distance to good bars and restuarants. The staff went out of their way to make sure that we had all that we needed for a pleasant stay.

I stayed here for three nights in September with work but I'd come back and stay with my husband. The location is lovely with a nice river front to walk down. I did the walk by myself before breakfast one morning and it was great to see a nice selection of bars and cafes, all within 10 minutes of the hotel. We were lucky to have our rooms free on arrival as we did get there early. I couldn't get over the size of the room for a city hotel. Very spacious with a balcony and one deck chair (a bit chilly to sit out and enjoy in September but nice to have in the summer), a little kitchen area with a fridge and a bathrooms with all amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion). The shower was nice and powerful. There is also a safe, plenty of hangers for a short stay and a hairdryer (a decent one which isn't attached to the wall). The hotel is very modern and I love the new lift technology which gets you around the hotel quickly. I used the gym once and enjoyed the views! I used the weights and mats too and it was small but perfectly adequate. I also enjoyed the outdoor hot tub which is big and a friend used the pool and said it was heated. In our room categories we didn't get robes or slippers and so I had to go to the pool in my gym kit and change in the tiny changing area and leave my things in the locker and do the same I reverse. I asked to take my towel with me but I had to return it that same night and so this is perhaps an area for improvement as it just felt a bit of a hassle. Breakfast is great. Lovely calm setting, lots of choice including various juices, cereals (homemade granola was tasty), pastries, cakes etc. There is a lovely bar area and a pool table near reception and lots of staff on the door. We had a few football teams staying when we were there and I think it's a top choice for some celebrity visitors too. I felt totally relaxed and safe here. This hotel offers everything you need for a calm and comfortable stay in the city. We walked to the Sunday market easily from here, there are places to eat and drink nearby and the staff are very helpful. I wouldn't have any hesitation recommending the hotel and I hope to be back! The bed is big and comfortable and I slept so well here. My room was facing the street on the 5th floor and it was a little noisy in the morning but I'm a light sleeper. I would still stay again.

I had booked three hotels for my trip and decided to stay at this one because several colleagues were going to. It was an excellent choice because the rooms are really very nice and well-appointed--possibly among my favourites from any hotel. But even more because the staff is so wonderful. Special mention of the concierge, Sebastien and the Front Desk staff, but also the breakfast team. I had a wonderful time and recommend this if your budget will allow. Downsides: Very limited options for vegetarians eating in and while Puerto Madero is nice, you will not easily find a little grocery store or pharmacy. If those things are important to you, you are better off in one of the older areas.

Very happy to have had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Madero for an international conference recently. I wasn't sure how good the standards would be given that it doesn't have the gravitas of some of the bigger name international hotel chains, yet in my view it's a plus that it's locally owned and operated. The rooms are extremely nice and well equipped. The breakfast buffet was delectable and tastefully chosen, with not too many options but each and every one being high quality. The coffee was some of the best I've ever tried in my life! The gym and pool are modest but do the trick perfectly well, with the added bonus of a jacuzzi and sauna for relaxing. The hotel staff were nothing but wonderful in all of my interactions with them, and they seemed pleased to help me out at every opportunity. The restaurant was also a real treat. On the whole, Hotel Madero is an excellent choice for a visit to Buenos Aires, strategically located in one of the nicest neighborhoods in the city. Five stars for sure.

The hotel is very centrally located in the Puerto Madero district - a new posh district at the port of Buenos Aires with great restaurants, and at walking distance from other central sites. Rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, very well equipped for a pleasant stay. Breakfast is great. Having said this one of the most important assets of this hotel is its staff! they have been all extremely helpful, polite, smiling, "amables" making the stay very pleasant. From the welcome at the reception, to the smile and great service at breakfast, to the excellent room service, that made my stay stand out compared to other hotels!

We really enjoyed our two night stay at the Madero and as we live in the Docklands area of London really enjoyed bein in the similar area of Buenos Aires! The hotel, room and facilities are excellent, but we felt it did not have any soul!. Nice hotels and happy to stay there but a bit antiseptic. Sorry if i am being harsh! However, i would stay there again quite happily.

Staying at this place is amazing! My first encounter was with Martin who went above and beyond to help me with my stay. From helping me fix my phone to finding a barber shop, he made me feel at home. His English was also perfect, which is helpful for English speaking foreigners. Thank you so much Martin! All the staff went above and beyond as well. I needed a late check-out and they were accommodating. The breakfast buffet had great choices for hot breakfast (eggs, pancakes, bacon), cold cuts and a wide variety of pastries and fruits. The room was spacious, very clean, and the view of the river was nice. About the location, it is in a very nice and safe spot. Only a walk from one of the greatest tango shows (Rojo Tango) and central for the ferries. Highly recommend, 5-stars easily, and I look forward to returning!!

A beautiful hotel located in the newest and most luxurious neighborhood of Buenos Aires, splendidly decorated, with modern and comfortable rooms, that provides excellent service, including a wonderful breakfast buffet and gourmet dining at its restaurant (during my stay a special dinner menus prepared by the Chef of the Zuccardi Winery was being offered). The hotel also has bar that offers great food and drinks. Although the hotel is located in this newer area of Buenos Aires, it is still walking distance from the historic San Telmo area that has some very interesting shops (do not miss the antiques) and good restaurants (some in the market). All of the employees are extremely attentive and service oriented (my gratitude to all). A special thanks to Martin Moreno, the Guest Services Manager, for the room upgrade. Sergio F.
