When Hotel Madero was being designed, we wanted it to reflect the style and sophistication of the Puerto Madero neighborhood we call home.At Hotel Madero one of the main challenges with the design of our hotel in Buenos Aires was to be able to incorporate functional diversity with space unity, to provide for flexible usage of the space and to integrate each area easily.Hotel Madero Buenos AiresThe Argentine studio Abulafia Figoni Prado was hired to do the interior design of our hotel in Buenos Aires. The project incorporates current and evolving spaces, places where people really want to stay and to feel comfortable in their environs. The intention was to design a hotel in Buenos Aires with atmosphere, generating a rich interior architecture through a suggestive way of illumination, and combining rich materials and textures so that each of the spaces has its own identity. The acquisition of the contemporary art is also very significant. Paintings and sculptures were incorporated, most of them from local artists

We went to the New Year's dinner with my mother, and we had a very friendly waiter, his name was Martín, always attentive to our table, always friendly and respectful. Genuinely the best waiter we have seen in Buenos Aires. He knew perfectly well when one wanted the next dish and was very attentive to ensuring that we were having a good time. I am lactose intolerant and they were very attentive with my dishes, always making sure I ate according to my diet. Martin really deserves a raise or something, because he was an excellent waiter. This was on 1/1/24

A really lovely hotel with fresh, nice spaces and nice rooms. We had a corner room with balcony facing the water and kingsize bed - highly recommended! Nice and varied breakfast buffet. Heated indoor pool and small heated hot tub on the roof. Spa, gym and pool table. Very nice and helpful staff, who made us feel welcome. Wine as a welcome gift, a chocolate bar for the evening, macaroni cookies and a little message for Christmas etc. - small things but that made an impression. The location was quiet and safe. At first we felt a little off, but quickly disintegrated. Many restaurants in the geekery, and only 10 minutes walk to San Telmo. Slightly wobbly cleaning and water bottles were only filled occasionally, but we were there during and New Year, so maybe staff shortages and probably only temporarily. We long to go back to Buenos Aires, and will definitely choose Madero again!

The superior room is generously sized and has a very comfortable king-size bed. The decor and furniture are a bit banged up, but the room is clean and tidy.
The breakfast and bar staff are all very friendly and make an effort to help if you are not fluent in Spanish. The front desk staff were very knowledgeable on transport options and tourist destinations.
The hotel is in a good location and we felt very safe walking around it down to the river

Two 3 night stays and two somewhat different experiences' Our first stay was quite smooth as we checked into our booked executive suite upon our early arrival and the suite was lovely with a nice view. We ate at the outside cafe area which was also a good experience the food was good and hot although at that cafe the menu was small. However our problems started when after retiring for the night a man can into our suite at around 11pm. and shone a light (from his iphone?) right into the bedroom area which was not near the doorway. The management gave several versions of what happened and apologised so we tried to forget it and enjoy the rest of our stay.
After a short trip to another area of Argentina we returned to the Madero (they had kindly stored some of our suitcases so knew were were returning to complete our reservation) for another short stay. This time however, we were greeted by the news that our suite type was not available and we would have to go into a smaller suite (our suite type had two bathrooms and was a special treat for our 50th wedding anniversary trip). We were not very happy and asked if there was any alternative. After a while it was agreed we could have two adjoining rooms/junior suite to fulfil the wish for two bathrooms and we agreed to this as a sensible resolution. Unbelievably on one of the nights another man came into our room this time standing in the doorway briefly before closing the door again and going away. Again we were in bed.
The manager met us at checkout and was very charming, apologising for what had happened and offering us a generous discount for our stay. He assured us this had never happened before and it was unbelievable it had happened to us twice. They had cameras in the hallways so knew exactly what had happened. We were very grateful that he took the time to come and see us and for his discount offer. It was rather unsettling to say the least but we felt that the hotel Manager dealt with the situation in a very professional manner.

I stayed with my husband and had an excellent day and night! They welcomed us very well, everything was super coordinated, we immediately had the room, all very friendly and professional. In the room we were left chocolates and a wine we loved!! We used the spa, I had massages that were very relaxing, the spa spotless, very quiet; the Solarium too. At night we had dinner in the restaurant, the food was AMAZING! Everything on time, always on the lookout for us, and the dishes delicious! Same for breakfast. Variety, all rich, and always someone attentive to our needs. I recommend it and would return without hesitation!

The hotel is new. Clean. Well adorned. Even the elevators are Instagrammable. Staff are kind, helpful and ready to meet our every request: glasses of sparkling wine for breakfast, macarons and alfajores in the room, bottles of wine as gifts. If I can define our stay at the Madero Hotel, I would say: we were pampered, just as we want when we are on vacation. The location is perfect, in addition to the excellent Red restaurant in the hotel itself, there are several others where you can go peacefully and safely on foot. The breakfast is a show in itself and I can't help but mention the honey favors. The pool is quiet and cozy. The atmosphere is friendly and refined. I live here? 🤭🥰🙃

In February 2020, shortly before the Corona period, I was in this hotel for the first time. At the end of a three-week trip to South America, I spent three nights in Madero. I was very satisfied this time too. Nice, quiet room facing the inner courtyard. Very good restaurant - I have eaten there several times. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. I would particularly like to highlight the friendly men in the lobby who will help you with your luggage, etc. The reception is also great. Since I suddenly developed an eye infection, the receptionist gave me the address of an eye clinic (Santa Lucia) and ordered a taxi that took me there (by the way, I was well looked after - even free for tourists, which I don't fully understand given the economic situation from Argentina. I only had to pay for the medication). The location on Puerto Madero is great, many restaurants and cafes on both sides of the canal. The historic center with the presidential palace can also be easily reached on foot.

On my 3rd trip to Buenos Aires I tried Puerto Madero neighborhood and just loved it. What blew me away about this Hotel is that I arrived on a very early flight from NYC and they let me check in before 11 am. I travel a ridiculous amount (100 Countries) and first time a hotel has accommodated me this early.

The truth is, a hotel that did not meet expectations at all. I was in the Zen room, they are in a very poor state of maintenance and the fact that the bathroom is completely connected to the room (separated by a black out) seems in very bad taste to me. The bed is very small for this type of room at 1.60, very uncomfortable. The breakfast is not bad but if you have gluten intolerance there is very little that they offer two varieties of rice cracker, a bread and a biscuit. I especially mention to Angel that he cared about giving me more options so I could have breakfast. The price-quality ratio is very bad! I would not go back

The hotel Madero was a perfect choice for our stay in Buenos Aires. This luxury hotel is centrallt located in the new part of town, Puerto Madero and we could walk to numeros gastronomic areas and take a taxi to all the nearby areas of San Telmo, Palermo and Reoleta. All the hotel personnel was very professional and courteous, the concierge Sebastian was the best and Axel in the front service was very helpful with all our needs and luggage handling. We recommend this hotel to everyone coming to Buenos Aires.

They do accept payment in cash - for all of their services, you can also use a Visa card for which you will get a better exchange rate that the official government rate, ask at the front desk. When traveling to Argentina also be informed of the day to day Blue Dollar, - you can exchange your dollar from the people offering these services in the area around Florida Street, but always compare and be prepared to haggle, ask for a better rate. Also, many restaurants and businesses accept dollars and will generally give you a better rate. As a final note, at Hierro Parrilla at the San Telmo market, the cashier can also exchange your dollars to pesos, just ask nicely or arrive with a bottle of tequila at tell Rodrigo (the owner) that you are a friend of Sergio.

Hi
Not sure of the distance but took us about an hour with a drive who knew where to go , lots of road works at the time of our visit.
would recommend pre-booking transport if you can. can't say how much it should cost as it was included in our package.

Hi
There is a small gym near the pool. Most locals see to jog in the evening, lots of places around where you could jog safely with little or no traffic
There are more places to choose from in the Buenos Aires area.
