Stayed here for one night while waiting Buquebus for the next morning. Hotel has a good location with nice breakfast. Room we stayed in was quite clean and comfy. Only negative thing was that the price of the room includes poor Wifi. You can upgrade it by paying extra.

We satyed here on three separate ocassions in January/Febuary. The hotel is clean with all that we needed. It was clean, quiet and with exceptional staff throughout. Its located near to bars, shopping and the subway/train station. What's not to like? Would stay again without hesitation.

I would continue looking at the other hotels in the surrounding area as this hotel is not the one you are looking for. The rooms are small and outdated, the bathroom is even smaller. You can do better then this one for the price.

This hotel is well located close to Florida pedestrian street just off the main Avenida do 9 Julio. It has limited facilities (no bar or restaurant). The area around has lively bars in the evening and it is a short walk to the Puerto Madero area where there are lots of dockside restaurants. Our room was looking a bit tired... More

We stayed in the Waldorf hotel at the beginning and end of our holiday as we were flying in and out of Buenos Aires. Both rooms were clean and had everything that we needed. The combination safe provided was useful as we had been warned of potential pick pockets as it is a large city. The hotel were happy to... More

We were surprised by this place- it was more high end than we expected for the price that we paid. Our room was a good size with lots of storage and linens. The bathroom was a decent size with good towels. The staff was wonderful with directions, taxi services, assistance with getting boarding passes. It is about 5 blocks from... More

I arrived in the early hours after a delayed LAN flight from Lima, to find myself in a room that could only be described as something akin to a Student Halls of Residence .. Travelling solo (ooh, and that extra we pay for 'being just one person'), I was pretty disgusted at what faced me. A single bed in a... More

First the positives: it's around the corner from Gallerias Pacifico where you can go for free wifi. It's also one block from Florida Street for great shopping. The breakfast is decent. Now the negatives: I was under the impression they had free wifi, false. Free wifi for the first hour then they charge your room. Free wifi is only available... More

This is an older boutique hotel in a very attractive area of Buenos Aires. There is nothing truly "outstanding" about this hotel, other than it's location and a nice buffet breakfast which was included in the nightly rate. You are literally two blocks away from the Galarias Pacifico Shopping Mall, and two blocks away from the city's famous walking street... More

Ok service, ok breakfast The value of the hotel is ok, you get what you pay for, but the location is great. A couple of blocks from La Florida St, a couple of blocks from Leandro N Ave. It is easy to get taxis and there are a couple of restaurants around and also minimarkets.

Staying in Retiro

Neighborhood Profile
Retiro
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighborhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
