The only good thing is the location. Right in the middle of the city center and near many attractions and many things to see around. The staff spoke no English. Only one cute old guy did. The rooms were not cleaned properly. Not sure would come back again

The hotel room was never clean and the reception employees aren't nice. Never had hot water to shower and you can clearly hear all the noise and steps from the rooms in your floor. Maybe 2 star hotel, wouldn't go back there for sure.

Walking into the lobby, the hotel looks grand and inviting. The front desk workers were helpful (I do not remember if they spoke fluent English) and the general seating area downstairs was comfortable too. The rooms that we received as a group were not spectacular. In fact, they were NOT what we were expecting when we arrived (and compared to...

The hotel location is superb making it right in the centre of its busiest are florida. Nice restaurants around and a bunch of major tourist spots a few blocks away. The images shown on booking websites are deceiving as the condition is a bit out of order. The walls are pretty thin making you hear almost everything from room next...

Location is perfect, one square away from the famous Calle Florida, nearby to Madero Harbor, Obelisk and the governor Casa Rosada, Grand King Hotel is a very good fit. Reasonable price, good service and conditions. Staff always helpful. I enjoyed my stay there and would consider for another time giving the combination of price, location and facilities.

Middle class hotel, not 4 stats but good value for the money. Some of the straff speaks english, some dont, but everyone was very helpful and we tried our best communicating with bodylanguage. Rooms are not new, and beds too soft, but works for just sleeping. Excellent location, walking distance to pretty much everywhere. Breakfast ok.

Really disappointing. The beds were some of the worst beds I've ever slept on. They were so old and sunken that I would wake up in the morning with an aching back. For a 4 star hotel, the hotel also didn't have air conditioning. As it was really hot, it was quite an uncomfortable stay. Breakfast was pretty good. Service...

I was there only for one night, because it.s close to the harbour, I thought it would be convenient to take the early ship to Uruguai but it.s not worth it at all. Staff was ok, not too nice to other guests that didnt speak spanish. The room was very old and very dirty. My bedshits had a blood stain...

Very clean quiet hotel. Good shower and good breakfast. On arrival safe in room did not work so we were promptly moved to another room. Concierge very helpful and is a good English speaker. We stayed here in 2004 and enjoyed our stay here in 2015 and the rate charged was nearly the same!

This was a big let down. I stayed there in three different occasions, mostly so I wouldn't need to pay cancellations. The beds MUST be improved, they're at your knees height but it feels you went to the ground as you go to sleep. The room on the 5th was better, but on the other rooms, everything was very old...

Staying in San Nicolas

Neighborhood Profile
San Nicolas
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks. The financial district is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours. After dark, the hubbub migrates to Corrientes Ave., where theater lovers might start their evening at a play and end it in one of the many traditional pizzerias nearby. During the day, Corrientes is known for its many bookshops and classic cafés, which are located just minutes away from some famous landmarks, like the Obelisco, Avenida 9 de Julio, and the Teatro Colon.
