I checked in (The receptionist was kind enough to upgrade my room free of cost) and had inmediately to go on my business. When I came to the room late I forgot to buy water, so I check the minibar and it was empty. Why had a minibar that’s empty? Soap and shampoo where put on bottles sticker to the wall so you had to press the bottles… well It was a pain to get shampoo out of the bottle. The worst thing was when I got to bet: only the sheets and a thin blanket was on, so I was cold the whole night.

We stayed here for two nights after staying in the 3 Star Waldorf hotel and then a hotel in Mendoza, and found the hotel to be good. The breakfast was the nicest out of the three, but still the same as they all are in AR eg. crossoints, cheese, ham. We stayed in a twin room and found the rooms to be spacious, and the bathromm quite big as well. The rooms were clean, but old. Location is quite good, close to Florida st.

The Carsson prides itself on its "4-star" rating, though it's unclear what that has to do with anything now. It's an amazingly dated place, with furnishing and style that hearken to a 1950's business hotel. Sure, there's cable (which is everywhere in Argentina), and wireless only in the lobby. But above the first floor, it's a time warp. It's not bad--my "double" was tiny and the bathroom miniscule, but the price was ok. In general, ok if you're on your own--but it's not a real 4 star in terms of amenities, style, service, or space.
