I thoroughly enjoyed my week at Malabia House. The hotel is within a former convent that has been converted into a beautiful little hotel. The location is ideal for exploring Buenos Aires, and it surrounded by restaurant cafes. Easy access of metro for full access of the city. Rooms are well equipped combining traditional old building with contemporary interior. Staff... More

1555 Malabia House, a boutique hotel is located in the heart of Palermo Soho, away from the centre of Buenos Aires. There are 14 rooms. This is a wonderful location, a very vibrant district. With an endless supply of restaurants and many outlet shops. It's walking distance to The Botanic Gardens and bus terminals, otherwise taxis are very inexpensive. We arrived... More

We stayed here for one night as a bit of a treat on our travels. The hotel is in a fabulous location right by loads of great shops and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable although for the price we had expected to have a window. The breakfast was also reasonably good. Our main criticism was of the staff, who clearly... More

I was really looking forward to staying at this hotel having read all the good reviews. However, my stay here was very disappointing. The hotel is in a good location close to restaurants and bars in Palermo district and has lots of character. It was therefore a great shame to find the staff less than welcoming. When i checked in... Malabia is a phenomenal boutique hotel located in one of the best areas of Buenos Aireas - close to cafe, restaurants, bars/nightlife, stores and in a great walking part of the city. The hotel is beautiful. The best part is the staff that works there. Everyone was awesome and always looking for ways to help you. The rooms were small... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
