San Nicolás
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks. The financial district is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours. After dark, the hubbub migrates to Corrientes Ave., where theater lovers might start their evening at a play and end it in one of the many traditional pizzerias nearby. During the day, Corrientes is known for its many bookshops and classic cafés, which are located just minutes away from some famous landmarks, like the Obelisco, Avenida 9 de Julio, and the Teatro Colon.

Stayed here for our last night in BA, check was smooth and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and basic in the morning, room is a good size with a comfortable bed. Great location in BA. If you’re looking for a budget hotel in the center of it all,

Exactly what we were looking for having arrived from long flight. Comfy clean bed and powerful warm shower. Staff very friendly. Located in centre of old downtown. Short walk/taxi to main sites. Very good value accommodation.

It is an older hotel that needs renovation if you get a room on the 5th floor and higher it is not bad. the breakfast is reasonably acceptable. The people at the front desk were very helpful. Remember you are downtown Buenos Aires and you must always keep in mind your safety. we

My mom and 3 sisters stayed for almost a week. Once we arrived to our room in the 8th floor , we were surprised by how spacious the room was. We have a few recommendations though : Switch to another floor cleaner bc it has a very strong odor that we had to open the window and

o meu quarto também não tinha carpete. Posso falar do financeiro? Entendeu? Qualquer dúvida pode me ligar.

"Higher is better. Front facing rooms probably get some traffic noise but rear rooms have very little light - pick whichever suits better!"
"anything 5th floor and higher"
"Choose a room not on the main Street."
"although our rate did not include a free continental breakfast, we had the breakfast all three days and it was quite nice and at 60 pesos per person the price was right. also, two other non related couples from our cruise ship also stayed here for a few days. good choice for all."
"Not room 84. Seems like a well-worn dorm room with 2 single beds. Like other comments here, you balance the value - so this is still good if you get a great price. Unsure how to judge other rooms, but we also stayed in 101 and it felt like the Penthouse! (I think it was, top floor and walk up a few stairs). Had a sitting area leading up to a room with a queen bed, then an additional room with 2 single beds. Bathroom roughly the same as the other (needs to be torn out and replaced, but clean) - needs a facelift but fully functional. In spite of this large room - one towel was provided. Staff very helpful to accomodate any requests thought."
