This hotel is near the refurbished dock area, but isn't close to much else. We stayed here for 2 nights on our way to Ushuaia. I wouldn't stay here again as it really isn't in the best location. Palermo Soho and Palermo Hollywood are much...More

Thanks very much for all of your comments. We really appreciate them. We hope to have you with us again.
Just spent 3 nights at this hotel. Rooms a bit dated and need a refurb. I had a front room so I could hear the traffic and the clock tower on the hour every hour. Room service prices 3 time what you with pay in...More

We hope to have you with us again.
Loved the room, loved the service. Location was good for my business trip, and for walking around and exploring, but if you like to get around by car the location is probably not ideal because of congestion. Would stay here again.More

Of course this is a very nice hotel, but perhaps not 5 star. It is attached to The Sheriton but is more exclusive and quieter. When we arrived for our 3 days stay after a cruise there was only one person behind the reception desk,...More

Elegant hotel in the heart of Buenos Aires, connected to the Sheraton. Great concierge services. We asked for an 8am check-in when we booked and they said no problem because we are Gold members of Starwood. (our flight arrived at 6:30am.) But we had to...More

Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighborhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with
ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.

You can arrange this with the concierge service. See the Park Tower Buenos Aires hotel website and there is a link at the top of the page for transportation information and arrangements with the hotel.

I would be careful walking around too much without getting guidance from the concierge. I say that because one night we decided to walk back from the mall and our GPS took us behind the hotel on a street that ran parallel to the main street that the hotel is on and it was very scary. It was about 6 pm at night and dark. Thankfully, a security guard to another building allowed us to cut through otherwise I have no idea what would have happened. Also, we were told by a local that a park near our hotel was dangerous. So just ask the concierge where you should and shouldn't walk.
