The hotel is conveniently located in the business district. Service is ver good. The room is spacious and nice. However, there are a limited number of amenities. They do not provide slippers, hair-dryer, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc. Breakfast is not good but adequate. There is a very small salad bar corners. You can exchange your us dollar money at the front desk (1 USD = 350 peso).

Avoid this hotel.Looks can be deceiving when you come into the lobby. Rooms are shabby, shower overflows into the bathroom floor, air conditioner makes loud noises and does not cool. Came back today from a day of touring to a floor full of water and the air conditioner leaking like a waterfall. When maintenance came the air conditioner was stuffed with towels(fire hazard) that was the solution to the problem apparently from previous issues. After calling for help (3) times they moved us to another room. What an inconvenience to have to pack up and move again. The new room was even warmer than the first and the air conditioner did not work all night. We hardly slept from sweating all night. We never saw management, No sorry for the trouble was given to us. There are many good hotels in Buenos Aires I recommend you avoid the Melia. Poor management and subpar amenities.

If you are looking for a good location hotel and good value for Money, this is a good option. The hotel isn't new but it is well maintened. It needs a little renovation but it don't bother at all. Location ia good, very close to Calle Florida and Puerto Madero. The street is a walk way so there is no traffic.

Overall we had a pretty good stay, everyone was very nice and helpful. Although there was a language barrier most things turned out well. I would consider staying there again if we go back to Buenos Aries Argentina.

Location of this Melia City Hotel on Reconquista 945 is fine and suitable for a wide range of visitors. What was disappointing for me was the standard of my Room.Water leak damage from the ceiling, due to this wooden closet doors closed not properly,in the bathroom the toilet seat did not show the standard of a 4 Star Melia Hotel.Carpet in my Room on 6. Floor (larger) then most other Rooms and facing the preferred more quiet backside of the Reconquista Ave. was very dirty .At least bed covers looked clean and the Breakfast Buffet choice was surpringly good and well attended by a large group of Hotel staff. The Hotel was during my 1 night Weekend stay very high occupied. What dissapointed me on arrival and departure was the rather careless unfriendly apparence of the Reception staff towards me and my company. This was sadly my personal experience and hopefully wont be the case to other guests the same.I would also like to give advise to all Melia Rewards high Tear Loyality Programm Members to do not expect any Benefits usually granted by Hotel staff of this Melia property. As a proof of correctness of my evaluation I attach you pictures which I believe speak from themself.

Melia locates at a quiet neighborhood in the middle of the city. It is just a few minutes’ walk to a shopping street, Pacificio Gallery etc. There are a lot of café, restaurants and convenience stores near this hotel. The hotel is a business hotel. Our room is facing an old building so we never opened the curtain. The room is quite big and clean. The open bathroom is with a good size and separate shower and toilet. There is no coffee maker or kettle in the room. We had our breakfast in a big conference hall with was converted as an eating area during weekend. Service was ok but the breakfast food was very limited in variety and quite disappointing. Overall service of the hotel staff was good. We were able to exchange money at the reception area.

Very good location. Large room, open bathroom room 825 in what appears to be the newer section of the hotel? Lousy pillows, among the worst. Breakfast not much better than residence inn, 3 stars max. On our floor, 801 to 816 appeared to be older old; 817 to 828 newer?

We did my sister's bachelorette party, which consisted in 30 minute massage, and 2.5 hours of use of the facilities. We were provided towels, slippers and robes by the very friendly hotel staff. I think I might have a crush on the lady that did my massage. She was amazing.

We stayed here twice during our travels to Buenos Aires, (before and after a trip to Iguazu Falls) and both rooms were spacious and nicely appointed. When we checked in the second time, we got lucky and got a corner suite as an unsolicited upgrade.
