Melia locates at a quiet neighborhood in the middle of the city. It is just a few minutes’ walk to a shopping street, Pacificio Gallery etc. There are a lot of café, restaurants and convenience stores near this hotel. The hotel is a business hotel. Our room is facing an old building so we never opened the curtain. The room is quite big and clean. The open bathroom is with a good size and separate shower and toilet. There is no coffee maker or kettle in the room. We had our breakfast in a big conference hall with was converted as an eating area during weekend. Service was ok but the breakfast food was very limited in variety and quite disappointing. Overall service of the hotel staff was good. We were able to exchange money at the reception area.
Very good location. Large room, open bathroom room 825 in what appears to be the newer section of the hotel? Lousy pillows, among the worst. Breakfast not much better than residence inn, 3 stars max. On our floor, 801 to 816 appeared to be older old; 817 to 828 newer?
We did my sister's bachelorette party, which consisted in 30 minute massage, and 2.5 hours of use of the facilities. We were provided towels, slippers and robes by the very friendly hotel staff. I think I might have a crush on the lady that did my massage. She was amazing.
The service provide by the Amelia was Excellent. The rooms were up to date and very clean,. It was located within walking distance of most of the attractions and shoppers. The food. at reasonably priced and good.
We stayed here twice during our travels to Buenos Aires, (before and after a trip to Iguazu Falls) and both rooms were spacious and nicely appointed. When we checked in the second time, we got lucky and got a corner suite as an unsolicited upgrade.
How wonderful to be somewhere besides the huge chain hotels that pepper foreign cities. An artful ornamental horse stands guard outside the hotel. The staff are helpful and pleasant. The rooms are decorated in such fashion that you feel as if you are in Argentina, not just in one more foreign city. It is walking distance to sights and restaurants. A must try!
Stayed here in February for 4 nights after a cruise. Excellent hotel as so central to all places of interest, we walked everywhere and felt so safe, what a beautiful city. Room in hotel huge, very clean and seemed to cater for business people with a few tourists. Only had breakfast at hotel but it was more than adequate with plenty of choice to cater for most nationalities. Lots of eating places close to hotel plus a fabulous shopping arcade so would highly recommend this hotel if you’re ever lucky enough to visit beautiful Buenos Aires
We stayed here in early February, there was a slight mix up on the room on arrival we had booked a std twin and were given a double, this was sorted out straight away with no problem, throughout our stay we found the staff polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated about 5 mins walk from Calle Florida with loads of shops and an easy walk to most of the city highlights. Across the road there are a couple of bars and there are a few restaurants nearby, if returning to Buenos Aries would stay here again
Very nice hotel and the staff is very friendly. Good location in the business area. Thanks specially to Raul who made the checkout early in the morning fast and kindly helped me to have an early breakfast.
The hotel is well situated in the center of the city. Walking distance to many attractions especially the famous Florida Street with many shops, shopping mall and restaurants. Some of the amenities offered are an indoor pool, spa and small workout room, an on-site restaurant a small bar/lounge, business center with internet access and free internet. The rooms are a nice size. The first 3 days the room was nice and clean with a large bathroom with a separate toilet are and a separate shower area. The one night we stayed after return from a cruise the room I stayed in was large, but the bathroom was very small with dim light. The service was and front desk was exceptional. They were very helpful, helped me arrange for various transfers to and from cruise port and to the airport. I want to thank Raul, Juan and Christen who were at the front desk and gave exceptional service. I will definitely stay here again.…
