Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighborhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.

Thank you Privatkunde for your review, we really appreciate all of the points you have mentioned, the good and the bad things. Sheraton has a great location, pretty close to many attractions in the city. It is very valuable for us when our guests highlight staff performance as you did. I have addressed your concerns to work with the different departments involved, as we are always looking for ways to improve our service. We work very hard to treat every guest in special and leave memorable experiences. Thank you so much for staying with us and we hope to see you in a near future.

This was my first trip to Argentina and I'm really glad I chose to stay at this hotel. The lobby was magnificent and reminds you of old-world splendour. Rooms were comfortable, although slightly bearing a well-worn out look in some areas. I spent 8 nights here and found the

The hotel has a nice location for tourists. (It is next to a train station, but that is not a problem.) It is close to a shopping area, many restaurants and sights. There is an ATM inside the hotel and taxis are lined up close to the hotel entrance. The rooms were clean and
