Excellent location, close to shops and major sites. Very clean and comfortable hotel! Amazing breakfast. Good value, friendly staff and a very good choice for a special long weekend break. I strongly recommend this boutique hotel.

The outside looks great but once inside you can see that the hotel needs some remodeling and upkeep. Each of us in our wine group had something disastrous in their room. Either the wire to the chintzy table lamp was so frayed that the light went on and off, or their room to ceiling curtains were hooked only in two...

We were moved here when another of their chain mucked up our booking. Outwardly, and in the lobby it looks nice. The staff speak English which was useful. Our room was pretty tired though. Towels were Grey and a bit damp because the room was cold. The air conditioner did not work to heat the room but on closer inspection...

Just back after a weekend and have to say, it was a pretty good hotel. The staff were good, room was clean, and good bathroom. The faux-classical style of the lobby isn't quite to my taste, however as a hotel, it was more than adequate overall. I didn't bother with the breakfast (more due to the fact you have a...

Unique Hotel Network is a complete scam and here is why: - The pictures are fake, as everything else in this hotel is fake, from art on the wall to smiles. They smile gently while the rip you off. - Almost everyone we met had been relocated, you never get the location you booked. - They "forget" you booked by...

The location is perfect, right in the middle of B.A. most charming "barrio", Recoleta. What a lovely place, full of small treasures to find and wonderful long walks to take. However, and there is always a however the hotel has its ups and downs. UPS 1) The staff is attentive and polite, always there to help you. 2) It is...

The hotel is just ideal for seeing the city. Within Walking distance of the beautiful shops and cafés, the Recoleta, The Casa Rosada and some great restaurants. The staff have some superb tips and have your safety and security in mind at all times. Loved it!

A small hotel in the area of la Recoleta,it does have its needs, specially when it comes to décor. One of the limitations is that the only service offered is breakfast , but not to worry there are plenty of excellent Cafes in the area for a fraction of what you pay for a very basic staple. The rooms where...

Staying in Retiro

Neighborhood Profile
Retiro
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighborhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
