This hotel is centrally located in San Telmo. The rooms are quite new and the bed is nice! The rooms are not big (especially bathroom is small), but are clean and nice towels! There's is no airco and a small window which makes the rooms really hot (in summer) and musty. Be aware that normally breakfast is not included. On...

If I could live somewhere in BA, I would choose this hotel. Immaculately clean, genuinely friendly staff, excellent food, and of course the architecture. This hotel does not feel like a hotel, it feels like an old Hollywood film. A mixture of traditional architecture and modern design. Thank you Juan and all the amazing staff!

Really nice small hotel in the trendy San Telmo district. Clean room with air conditioning and nice seating area outside. Bathroom was tiny, but it was clean and worked well. Good café/breakfast area on the ground floor and helpful staff. Would stay here again as it was a good location and a good value hotel.

Our local guide and driver both stated that this was the best 3 star Boutique hotel in the city and we certainly enjoyed our short stay here. It is an old restored Italian Villa in San Telmo and the staff were really welcoming and helpful and took our luggage up to our room. The room was of a good size...

Spent a wonderful 4 days in San Telmo. Juan at reception was incredibly helpful and always pointed us in the right direction. The hotel itself is quaint and charming with the deck pool providing welcome relief after a hot day's activities. Our room was small but well equipped. Wi-fi was good and rooms were spotless.

We were happy to come back to he welcoming lobby, ask more questions and go up to our spacious clean room. The tall ceilings, French doors and nicely appointed room was complimented by a gigantic whirlpool tub to luxuriate in. The staff were happy to assist in choosing destinations, restaurants and directions and he location made it easy to get...

Loved the hotel. A tiny pool on the roof and rooms around a balcony. It was beautiful and good value. A delightful welcome to the city. I would stay again if I go to the city. Good location close to San Telmo.

I loved this charming little boutique hotel, but like everywhere, there are good and the not so good points. First the good, the rooms are arranged around courtyards which gives this hotel a charming and boutique feel to it. There are three courtyards and they're open air, although there is some cover if it rains. Lots of art and a...

We loved this hotel. Old building that has been modernized. The front desk staff made our visit, they were so responsive and helpful, especially Juan who always seemed to be answering our questions and helping us out. Our room was large with a great shower. Buffet breakfast was delicious. Fun neighborhood close to good restaurants. Pool on roof which we...

Staying in San Telmo

Neighborhood Profile
San Telmo
Characterized by cobblestones and narrow streets, San Telmo is defined by the tango, the dance that made Buenos Aires world-famous. Tango is a fusion of many different cultures: a true child of immigration, much like the city itself. Nowadays, it comes alive after dark in the milongas (dance parties) attended by both locals and visitors alike, who dance until the wee hours of the morning. During the day, the antique shops and classic cafés and bars around Plaza Dorrego dominate the scene. The emblematic Bar Plaza Dorrego, with its green awnings, checkered tile floors, and wooden interiors, takes you back in time the moment you step inside. For true porteño traditions, San Telmo is the place to be.
