New Jersey
Reviewed 5 days ago NEW

Our room was spacious and well designed, with a nice bathroom. The breakfast buffet was fine. The staff were courteous and helpful. The people working at the front desk speak English well. The location is excellent, on a quiet street right next to the Recoleta cemetery and within a short walk of restaurants and a large mall.

This hotel is small and quiet but in a great location for walking around Recoleta. Museums, art galleries and tree lined parks are all at the end of the road. The famous Recoleta cemetery is over the road and good eating places and bars around the corner. The staff are very friendly and there is always someone who speaks English...

First the positive. Great location, comfortable room, great price. Now the negative. Asked to be wakened at 5 for a plane to Iguazu falls leaving at 7. Never got a wake-up call. Almost missed the plane but luckily awoke at 6. Front desk apologized and quickly got us a cab. We had also requested a taxi for 6:15 which had...

The choice in BA is bewildering and we go lucky with this little gem. Stayed for 1 night and than came back for a week after visiting Iguazu Falls. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast while simple was fresh and perfectly adequate for a day exploring BA. Room was quite, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Bed was great. Locating is...

We had 5th floor room, with fabulous view from our balcony looking directly down on Recoleta Cemetery. With only 3 rooms per floor, this is a quiet and small hotel, with good location on a side street. Good buffet breakfast included with room was nice.Clean and modern room.

Brilliant location and views to Ricoleta cemetery. So many restaurants, bars within easy walking distance. Very surprised to find kitchen facilities (not that I was tempted to cook while on holiday)- just that even tea/coffee making facilities are rare in Sth America. Small boutique hotel with extremely comfortable rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the Sileo for three nights at the start of our holiday and one night at the end. It is clean, comfortable and quiet, despite being very centrally located in Recoleta. For the first 3 nights we were on the 1st floor, so the view of the cemetery was ok, but not great. On our last night we...

Location is great! Central to everything in Recoleta. Cute, clean boutique hotel with great staff. Breakfast is offered at an additional charge and worth it - so many choices and everything so yummy! My room was spacious, had a big flat screen TV, balcony, comfy bed and kitchenette. Everything was great except I spoke with front desk staff about arranging...

When we arrived we were tired and didn't get a room with a view as we had requested. There was a little of a language barrier, but we waited and finally got a great room with a view at no extra charge. While we were waiting (40 mins) the cleark asked us if we would like a coke to drink...

Staying in Recoleta

Neighborhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterized by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighborhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centered on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
