We could not have been more pleased with a recent stay at Hotel Club Francis, and a big reason is the outstanding work by Elio at the front desk. We have traveled widely, and I can say Elio is a treasure -- providing a warm helpful arrival, making useful touring and dining recommendations and giving clear directions. If you have an issue to be dealt with, no problem -- Elio is there to make things work flawlessly. Our suite was HUGE and very comfortable, the bed, like the room, most comfortable; and a cavernous bathroom with even a private sauna The included breakfast is complete and served in the very attractive winter garden. We felt extremely safe walking around the surrounding area, either by day or night. Thank you Elio and thank you Hotel Club Francis for a delightful stay -- highly recommended.…
Loved this boutique hotel! Elio was supberb, assisting us with early arrival, dinner reservations, and all our questions. Clean, spacious & quiet room with very comfortable bed and towels. Just made our last night in Buenos Aires memorable.
This is a charming elegant hotel in the quiet part of Recoleta, but is within walking distance to many tourist attractions. The room was clean and big. We had a red-eye flight out of BA and they offered us a half-day rate for staying past checkout time so that we could still tour the city on the day of departure, come back and take a shower before heading to the airport. I would not recommend the restaurant and bar at the hotel, as the menu was somewhat limited and it took forever to get anything at the bar. Still, the hotel is excellent in our opinion,
Entrance and reception were a welcomer step back from the super-chic of modern Hotels, Staff were extremely helpful and happy to arrange my wife's wish to see a tango performance. Our luxury suite was a delight, huge, with a king bed and equally large bathroom with sauna - sadly I did not get to test it. Street noise was non-existent and this, coupled with the very comfortable bed ensured a restful sleep, most welcome after the chaos of arrival at Ezeiza. The in-house French restaurant is a good fall-back if dining out in one of the many nearby eateries does not suit and the Recoleta area has much to offer in sightseeing and shopping.
This small boutique hotel reflects the upscale location. Very nice, clean well equipped bedrooms but the hotel restaurant is the real reason to stay here. Lavish breakfast buffet plus any special orders you give. Really equisite, classic French cooking for lunch and dinner. Excellent service. Reasonable rates for hotel & restaurant. Attentive front desk. Forget any food at the bar. Service lagging. Stick to the dining room and iif you reserve, ask for the solarium or "winter garden"........totally attractive surroundings. Have favored this place for 3 years and never disappointed. English translation menus.
