Had the pleasure of staying here on 3 occasions during our trip. Upon arrival (during the World Cup Final) things were a bit crazy but Sophia and the team made good and got us settled in and comfortable. They were even able to arrange a pcr test for our impending cruise in advance and at the hotel. The rooms are very large and clean and the sauna an added bonus. All the team are extremely friendly and you become more than just a guest by the end of your stay yet the professionalism remained. It does not have the bells and whistle of the high end hotel however it is smaller more personal and a lot quieter. Overall a very pleasant stay and a good choice for us.
We arrived around 5pm on 12/20/22 after an overnight flight to stay one night prior to a cruise. Unfortunately, that was the same day of the arrival of the Argentine football team that won the World Cup. We had to wait at the ap an extra 4 hours until our pre booked driver managed to get through the closed roads and take us to the hotel, and we were exhausted. Fortunately, Sophia at the front desk was so welcoming to us! They were kind enough to let us eat an early dinner in the restaurant even though it wasn’t officially open for dinner yet - we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The hotel was beautiful, quiet, sparkling clean- everything we needed for a good night’s sleep. The next morning Mary was the best hostess at the delicious breakfast that was included with the room, and Sophia arranged for a taxi that took American cash to take us to the port. If you’re staying a night or more before a cruise, we highly recommend the Hotel Club Frances!…
We recently stayed at Hotel Club Frances and we were so thrilled that we did! It is a beautiful, classic, charming place with beyond helpful employees! The rooms and main areas are bursting with incredible French pieces. It is on a quiet, leafy street and very close to many tourist attractions, wonderful restaurants and some great shopping. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean at all times. Anna and Sophie and really everyone else went above and beyond on everything. They arranged boat excursions, drivers, dinner reservations, literally whatever we asked. One night we asked if we could get a box to box up a chair that we purchased and we got back from dinner and it was done and in our room ready to board the plane. Everyone that worked here was so warm and although we speak minimal Spanish, they would always find someone to help translate if they didn't speak English themselves. Many of them spoke wonderful English too. We cannot wait to return to this beautiful city and this lovely hotel!! Thanks to all of you there!…
We could not have been more pleased with a recent stay at Hotel Club Francis, and a big reason is the outstanding work by Elio at the front desk. We have traveled widely, and I can say Elio is a treasure -- providing a warm helpful arrival, making useful touring and dining recommendations and giving clear directions. If you have an issue to be dealt with, no problem -- Elio is there to make things work flawlessly. Our suite was HUGE and very comfortable, the bed, like the room, most comfortable; and a cavernous bathroom with even a private sauna The included breakfast is complete and served in the very attractive winter garden. We felt extremely safe walking around the surrounding area, either by day or night. Thank you Elio and thank you Hotel Club Francis for a delightful stay -- highly recommended.…
Loved this boutique hotel! Elio was supberb, assisting us with early arrival, dinner reservations, and all our questions. Clean, spacious & quiet room with very comfortable bed and towels. Just made our last night in Buenos Aires memorable.
This is a charming elegant hotel in the quiet part of Recoleta, but is within walking distance to many tourist attractions. The room was clean and big. We had a red-eye flight out of BA and they offered us a half-day rate for staying past checkout time so that we could still tour the city on the day of departure, come back and take a shower before heading to the airport. I would not recommend the restaurant and bar at the hotel, as the menu was somewhat limited and it took forever to get anything at the bar. Still, the hotel is excellent in our opinion,
Entrance and reception were a welcomer step back from the super-chic of modern Hotels, Staff were extremely helpful and happy to arrange my wife's wish to see a tango performance. Our luxury suite was a delight, huge, with a king bed and equally large bathroom with sauna - sadly I did not get to test it. Street noise was non-existent and this, coupled with the very comfortable bed ensured a restful sleep, most welcome after the chaos of arrival at Ezeiza. The in-house French restaurant is a good fall-back if dining out in one of the many nearby eateries does not suit and the Recoleta area has much to offer in sightseeing and shopping.
This small boutique hotel reflects the upscale location. Very nice, clean well equipped bedrooms but the hotel restaurant is the real reason to stay here. Lavish breakfast buffet plus any special orders you give. Really equisite, classic French cooking for lunch and dinner. Excellent service. Reasonable rates for hotel & restaurant. Attentive front desk. Forget any food at the bar. Service lagging. Stick to the dining room and iif you reserve, ask for the solarium or "winter garden"........totally attractive surroundings. Have favored this place for 3 years and never disappointed. English translation menus.
The hotel is a very nice building but poorly mantained. Wifi never worked, I had to use my 4G. When I approached the desk, I was mistreated by the employee, which never took care of my problems. I felt like I was disturbing the busy atmosphere. Never going back, total trash
Went here with a few friends for lunch. Excellent service, the food was superb. Portions were correct. Not to busy so easy to converse. Good ambience. Has inside and outside seating. Will definitely return.
