I had a great stay in this hotel, the breakfast had a lot of variety and good quality. The hotel was situated in a great area in the heart of san telmo, the design of the hotel was amazing, the architecture is really beautiful. I have no complaints, an overall great stay would recommend to anyone.

We loved our stay here. After two months of hostels and trekking, this place was as named - luxurious. Loved the lofty layout of the with bed space upstairs and everything else below. The breakfast was divine in a beautiful tearoom setting. Wonderful location. Highly recommended.

Stayed here a week in March Good location in San Telmo Apartments very comfortable and staff happy and helpful. Not for those who cannot handle stairs! Two bathrooms a bonus and sofa bed downstairs didn't look too comfortable if more than one couple. Breakfast included and adequate. Nespresso machine a bonus but sachets at a cost! It's a very small hotel, but its design is very original! Rooms are suites, in loft style, very clean! If you like watch TV in bed, pay few more $ for bigger suite! Smaller one has TV in living room only. For me is perfect, but just in case, someone doesn't like it. Hotel staff is very , very nice!...

We stayed here for 4 nights in December. The hotel is set in a historical building which has been carefully restored. It has 12 rooms, a small reception, a breakfast room and a roof terrace with a fountain (no pool). Plaza de Mayo is 100m away. In the near neighbourhood there are lots of little cafes and an excellent restaurant...

If you are looking for something different this is the place. Clean, friendly, historic but with modern twist. This is a recently converted old house which has been sympathetically transformed to a modern urban living space. With mezzanine bedroom level, lots of old wood and modern alluminum, comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms, lounge, balcony. Big wooden shuttered Windows. On roof a hidden...

This boutique hotel nestled in the lively, arty area of San Telmo is delightful. The best rooms are 201 202 as they have balconies onto the street. The bedrooms are in the mezzanine level with bathrooms with showers on both levels. Staff are great as is the decor.

Perfectly located and nice boutique hotel. Extremely nice and helpful bilangual staff. Room could be a bit cleaner though and small bathroom needs attention. Tip of the day; invest in the towels. These were completely worn out and had many stains.

I was recommended this hotel through a friend as a great place to stay in the quirky bohemian district of San Telmo. An old house with tall rooms had been converted In to a very modern hotel. The rooms were split level with a bathroom and lounge on the ground floor and a bedroom bathroom on the second floor. There...

Staying in Montserrat

Neighborhood Profile
Montserrat
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighborhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.

Many years ago, when this dream started, we thought of you: a guest interested on San Telmo’s neighborhood, willing to walk through its cobbled streets, discover and explore its restaurants, traditional bars, markets and magic antique stores. But specially interested on experiencing the unique sensation of living at a typical San Telmo ‘casona’: a place where secrets and history are revealed in every corner. With a lot of love and dedication, we have restored this building, and given back its value to every single little detail.
