The double rooms are not too spacious, but comfortable, with WiFi, safe, and affordable prices.
It has a restaurant, very well attended, with tasty meals, great for a lunch (but not WiFi signal).
The staff is very helpful and formal, Navy´s heritage, the best.
No parking. A very good option at Buenos Aires.
We booked this hotel through Booking.com, and the pictures shown in its website do not match the rooms at all. The same can be said about the Hotel Centro Naval website. The room was old, noisy and filthy (see pictures). One of the beds had blood stain and the beds are uncomfortable, the walls were rundown and dirty, and the carpet was old.
The bathroom had a cracked sink, and there was no hot water when I took a shower around 7 pm in winter time. When I talked to the front desk about the water, the gentleman working that night was not helpful. He said that he only worked there, and he had nothing to do with it, and when people take showers during peak hours the hot water is gone (this was not disclaimed in the hotel website or Booking.com). Have we known that, we would have never booked this hotel. The hotel ruined our travel experience in Buenos Aires.
I also let that gentleman in the front desk know about the poor wi fi connection in the room, and how my room looked very different from their website. He seemed bother by my comments and my complains about these basic needs. He said that he would write everything I said in their complain book. Nothing was done to accommodate us. Very poor customer service.
In regards to breakfast, it had a poor selection of pastries, there was no decaf coffee and eggs. This hotel is not for international travelers. If you want to avoid a bad experience, stay away from this hotel. There are plenty of hotels in Buenos Aires and the metro takes you everywhere. This hotel is not even worth for the location.
Front desk is not helpful, some even don’t speak English.
Rooms are quite small, old and noisy.
Standard poor Argentinian hotel breakfast. Mostly pastries, no eggs.
Breakfast is a bit out of the internacional standard of a buffet one. Rooms are modestly fitted. I recommend to stay for those price sensitive travellers.
"I alwasys stay in a front room because I like slipping with the fresh air instead of conditioned air and I like to see the people walking down the Cordoba Avenue. But, as I sleep as a stone, I have nothing more to say about the rooms."Read full review
