I stayed at La Querencia de Buenos Aires with my parents back in September. The place is great... location (close to subway, San Telmo, you can walk almost everywhere, clean room, good breakfast. Yann was a great host. I highly recommend this place.
We booked initially for 4 nights at "The Querancia" and ended up staying for 2 more additional days. This alone should be evidence enough that we enjoyed this place.

Yann, the owner made us felt we were home the minute we arrived. The room was quite, big, extremely clean and comfortable. It could not be better and the price was very reasonable.

We recently stayed five nights at La Querencia. Yann is a great host. He is helpful with recommendations and goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable. The room was comfortable - a good size, ceiling fan, good wi-fi... The location is great...More
What a great little B&B in the heart of Buenos Aires. It is only a very small B&B with four rooms in total and gets booked out fast, but it has been extremely nicely decorated by the owner (Yann - from France) and keeps it...More

Sorry for the delayed reply, you have probably already been to BA when you read this, but i will answer anyway. There is a metro station close to the guest house, independencia and another one close by (i forget the name), a few restaurants close by too, but a much better eating location would be San Telmo, which is about a 15 min walk away. We walked back from San Telmo at night also and had no issues, although some locals may recommend against such practice.

Hi, When I was in Buenos Aires it was the "winter time" (July) and there were heaters in the room. There were overhead fans in each room. The rooms were quite cool as they were not in direct sun so I would expect that it won't be too warm in the "summer." Each of the rooms we rented had separate private bathrooms. It is a very nice place to stay and I have stayed in B and Bs all over the world.
Hope this is hepful.
