Francis Ford Coppola came to Buenos Aires for the making of his film “Tetro” and he fell in love with the city. Now his home in Buenos Aires is open to guests, offering bed & breakfast services. Located in Palermo Soho, one of the most vibrant neighborhoods is the lush, green oasis of Jardin Escondido. Boasting three levels of gardens, a pool, an outdoor kitchen and parrilla, and a beautiful terrace surrounded by plants of all kinds, Jardin Escondido is its own hidden paradise. If you've dreamed of a South American destination where a vibrant cultural scene is balanced with a peaceful escape, the excellent staff at Jardin Escondido awaits to make your dream a reality. Jardin Escondido is walking distance to hip fashion and design boutiques, restaurants, bars, craft fairs, and abundant street culture. There is a fresh, artistic atmosphere in the neighborhood, which makes it especially popular with young, sophisticated Argentines and foreign visitors.

Neighborhood
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.

Well, i dont write about all the places i have visited in the last years . But this hotel, more, this hidden paradise in Buenos Aires ,desserves to have attention from all of us. From the moment you arrive you will feel like at home. Fantastic decoration ( Italian of course) , very friendly staff (thank you Ignacio), excellent location in Palermo Soho. Before going to the recommended restaurants we took an aperitivo in the living room, prepared by the staff . All my questions, all we have been desired for, all our needs : the staff was there. Thank you for this extra ordinary stay we had in your hotel. The Coppola family can trust their property is in very good hands with such a wonderful staff.

Beautiful hotel, more like a private home. Excellent staff, always very helpful and interested in how my day went. A great area of BA, Palermo SoHo, chic shops and excellent cafes nearby. I highly recommend.

We were excited to stay at the Jardin Escondido. However, we left early after one day having had the misfortune to stay in the Bolano room which is next to the bakery. They have machines running all night so you can't sleep. We spoke to the night manager at 4am in the morning who said there is nothing he can do. Why would you make this room available when there is so much noise ?? The bed was very small for two people and the shower had no pressure. A very disappointing experience!

Dear Tony, We are sorry to hear that we did not fulfill your expectations. We claim to the bakery next door to adjust their maintenance process for the air extraction machines, as this is the first claim we have about this matter. We can only apologize for the situation and ask you for the opportunity to welcome you again with us in the near future. We are constantly working on improvements in our property and every review helps us to focus our efforts on our guest's comfort. Thank you for taking the time to share your comments with us. Warm Regards

Great staff. Classy, chic, comfortable, hotel in a great location. It's a little haven - relaxing, with lots of greenery. Very nice bedroom room and shared spaces. Freshly prepared breakfast. For improvement - have a good quality iron available for guests.

The team at the hotel were very welcoming, hospitable and kind in particular the front desk team. A wonderful oasis in the melee of Buenos Aires I would certainly highly recommend the hotel had a peaceful family home feel.

We thought that the staff were amazing. Super helpful and very accommodating. We loved the location of the hotel and thought that the common parts were clean and beautiful. The reason for not a higher score is that we found our room to be outdated. The bed wasn’t comfortable and the curtains fell down one evening as they were only pinned by 3 nails. We also found the room to be very loud during the evening. The bathroom was prone to flooding when using the bath and the shower pressure was weak with a very small shower head. Considering the price, nearly $1000 USD for two nights, we expected the room to be better.

Be Jardin is a delightful boutique hotel (7 rooms only) with personal service and pletny of shared space to enjoy before, after or during your day. With a small garden, pool and sun deck, the hotel provides an oasis when you need a break from the city. Close enough to everything BA has to offer, it is located near more restaurants and bars than you could explore in a month. It's most outstanding feature is the staff - they can't do enough to make your stary enjoyable - from providing restraurant recommendations, to preparing breakfast, to engaging in conversation and educating you about the city. They offer tips on Spanish if you need a hand - and simply counldn't be more obliging and helpful. Only room for improvement is the plumbing which could do with a revamp. If you have a choice, avoid the front rooms as they can be a little noisy with traffic (although not too bad at all, so don't worry if you end up in one of the two front rooms). Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful stay at the Jardin. The staff was exceptional and made the entire visit feel like you were staying with friends and not a hotel chain. Highly recommend if you are looking for a personal boutique experience.

We spent 5 nights at this lovely hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff is amazing, everyone was so helpful and welcoming, it was like having our own fully staffed home in Buenos Aires. Our room (Francis) was comfortable and roomy, the garden was calm and inviting and the main house/lounge/bar/reception was cozy and inviting. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something a little different than the large international chain hotels.
