Nice small hotel. We took an upgraded room. It is a large room with a small balcony. The wooden bathtub is an interesting addition. It is pretty but useless. Seems like a waste of space. The sofa is too low. However the room is very nice. Hotel has a small public space. The people at the front desk are very...

We chose this smaller 4 star boutique hotel in the lovely, relatively safe & quiet neighbourhood of Recoleta. Had an enormous king size room, very well equipped with even an expresso machine. Wonderful breakfast and good restaurant in the hotel. Relaxed in the indoor pool & sauna/spa.

Really enjoyed our stay at Mio. Would definitely stay again. The included breakfast is great, rooms are great, and the employees were very helpful. Stayed here in December 2016 with my partner. Could have picked a more convenient location. Easy walking to many attractions. Beautiful city!

We stayed at the Faena Hotel and MIO Buenos Aires when in Buenos Aires, and even thou both are very different hotels and the Faena is very beautiful, I would say that we prefer MIO Buenos Aires. It is a small beautiful boutique hotel situated in Recoleta. Our room was huge and beautiful, all sort of different stores and restaurants...

Mio was a wonderful hotel with beautiful balcony views. For those who wrote about the glass bathrooms- I suggest you do not stay in a hotel with someone you are not comfortable with. The glass features of the bathroom give a modern and sleek appeal to the design of the room. The staff was very helpful and welcoming, even calling...

Enjoyed 3 nights in this Recoleta boutique hotel. Room was adequate even though the bathtub location in the main living area was ridiculous and a space waster. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only complaint is about the breakfast. The Chef doesn't know how to poach an egg, make eggs Benedict, or make a tasty omelette. This suggested that the expensive...

The room was wonderful! Bed was comfortable and room was extremely spacious. The bathroom was modern with an awesome wood bathtub and great shower; it even came with bath salt which was a lovely touch. The walls were a little thin, I could hear my neighbors conversations at times, but the room was so nice it did not bother me...

This quaint little boutique hotel is located perfectly in the middle of Recoleta. Just 600 feet to the tomb of Eva Peron. And a few blocks walks to some of the very best dining and shopping in the city. If we come back, this where we will stay. Beds are super comfy. We used the giant teak wood tub almost...

Staying in Recoleta

Neighborhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterized by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighborhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centered on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
