We stayed here three nights after a cruise, because it was centrally located. Unfortunately, the room looks much better in the pictures than it actually is. Although the bed was comfortable, the sheets did not fit: The bottom sheet was not long enough to be tucked in at the head or foot! We asked for another room, but never got...

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights. We loved he location, central and easy to walk to most tourist locations/sites. Staff were ver friendly, rooms are super spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was basic but sufficient and common for Argentina with eggs, toast, tinned fruit, cereal and assorted pastries. Our booking said breakfast was not included, however when...

Well located in the center of the city, close to transportation, if needed, close to attractions, restaurants, shopping mall, close to Florida street, easy access to the city from this point, etc. A good place to stay while in Buenos Aires.

Just stayed at the Galarias for 4 nights. Location - great. Very close walking to many events and locations. Hotel - Very tired and run-down. Needs paint and a thorough scrubbing. Our room was on the 10th floor. View was of ghetto buildings and peoples laundry. Pool was small, dirty and smelled bad. Hot tub was very small and water...

5 blocks from Puerto Madero, 1 block from Florida Street and a 10 minute walk to St. Martins Plaza, this smallish hotel is comfortably 'functional'. A good size room with double beds that facilitated a great nights sleep, the breakfast was fresh and plentiful if fairly uncreative. There are few public areas ; the pool on the 12th and top...

This was a wrong choice due to mistrusting website reviews. Sure, they have very spacious rooms but rooms are in rundown situation, in my room 3 light bulb out of 10 were not working but they probably don't care till all lights are out. Internet failed on the second day and never repaired, management showed no concern as internet is...

This is a boutique hotel at a great location, 1 block walking distance to one of Buenos Aires' main shopping street. Staff is warm, but maybe it's because I had a local tour guide. However, they do not help you to hail taxi because there is only front desk staff at the lobby, no concierge / doorman service. Elevator is...

Staying in San Nicolas

Neighborhood Profile
San Nicolas
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks. The financial district is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours. After dark, the hubbub migrates to Corrientes Ave., where theater lovers might start their evening at a play and end it in one of the many traditional pizzerias nearby. During the day, Corrientes is known for its many bookshops and classic cafés, which are located just minutes away from some famous landmarks, like the Obelisco, Avenida 9 de Julio, and the Teatro Colon.
