Clean, comfortable and only 2 blocks from restaurants and night life. Staff were very helpful although English was limited with the evening staff. Room was large, well supplied & cleaned daily. Breakfast was plentiful - hot and cold on offer.

A small family run hotel in the midst of Palermo. Close to everything but away from the noise. The rooms are spacious and immaculate, extremely helpful front desk and a wonderfully comfortable bed allowing a good night's sleep to recharge for the next day. Breakfast served til 11 for late sleepers to be enjoyed inside or out in the patio....

As many have said, this property is quite different than typical properties. Great location, extra-clean, and very well maintained, it reflects the owners' pride of ownership throughout the property. Comfortable bed was greatly appreciated - so many properties fail in this regard! Decent breakfast was served including scrambled eggs cooked to order. In the interest of security, you must be...

Sissi Haz is well situated in Palermo Soho and is surrounded by some very good restaurants. We ate at Las Pizzara Bistro which provided a really good value gourmet meal in simple surroundings. The hotel has plenty of character, a sheltered garden and the owner is very friendly and helpful. Although he does not speak English, by using google translate,...

Great little boutique hotel with a very charming interior, friendly staff, beautiful garden and lovely scrumptious breakfast which had to our delight fresh avacados :) I would highly recommend staying here if you visit the Palermo district and walk to the restaurant on the corner for a great steak.

This is not exactly a boutique hotel, but more of a guesthouse, very nice rooms, clean and very good located in Palermo Soho, near bars, shops and restaurants. The staff is really good. The shower and breakfast are below expected once the price charged is very high. There is a room adapted for special needs but the rest of the...

Lovingly crafted, beautifully maintained small family-run hotel overseen by a very genial former architect makes for a quiet handily located base to explore Palermo/Buenos Aries, rooms immaculate, helpful staff, sweet courtyard, OK no lift and breakfasts perhaps won't fill you up (but hey!) highly recommended and very charming, I will certainly stay again, big thumbs up (Y)

I loved its location in Palermo and my room was absolutely charming. It had an old world quality about it and was very well-maintained and attractive. The staff was warm and welcoming and had great advice for restaurants in the area and were very helpful in other areas as well. I would definitely stay here again if I was staying...

We received a very warm welcome, despite out lack of ability to speak and understand Spanish, at this delightful small hotel getting to know the owners and family during our 4-night stay. Everything matched the descriptions we had read on TA and elsewhere; the unique and pleasant design of the rooms welcomed, our room and the hotel in general were...

Sissi Haz is an adorable hotel in a swank area of Palermo. The hosts are very gracious. Even though their English was limited, they were totally able to help us with anything we needed. Breakfast was standard and adequate. The wireless was strong. It is easy to walk to restaurants, shopping and the metro. You’ll love the looks of both...

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.

“As it doesn't have a lift, probably the rooms not so high up are best. I am used to the fact that many places don't have lifts. In most B&B's in Europe, etc., lifts are a rarity, so hauling bags is just the norm.”
