We got this place through RCI timeshare exchange and even after reading the bad reviews (because some places get bad reviews unjustifiably) I thought that I would still be able to handle this place, but when I got there I was so disgusted by how dirty and run down this place was I immediately booked a different hotel and called... This is a basic hotel-resort in the heart of buenos aires , it's location couldn't be better , the subway is just 2 blocks away, in the other hand if you don't want to have too much expenses this the hotel for you , you can cook in the room ( the kitchen is well equipped, in the case you... More

I was invited by a couple to join them to a trip to Buenos Aires - they said the hotel we will have an extra room - but in fact is a "living room" with a sofa-bed (not a good sofa and not a good bed) - But the real problem was the dirty - starting from the floor and... More

Good location, walking distance to many attractions and tourist places in B. Aires. The place itself: the rooms and bathrooms were old, the sheets, bed cloths and towels were very old (even had a cigarette burn). the matress and couch were oooold (we woke up with headaches). no microwave in the kitchen and a very small fridge, but that wasn't... Even now when I look at the photos on Trip advisor I can not believe we were in the same hotel. We were a group and one couple had a room which had the windows all boarded up!!! We had no hot water for 2 nights/days so I just was longing to get home! Our room was very basic, reminded... More

This place was a great first hotel for our first nights stay. Our room came with 2 twin beds, a living room w/ coach, and a kitchen. Free breakfast was awesome and included pastries, dulce de leche, and tea. The rooms were clean and the hotel was right in Microcenter by everything.

It's like a small apartment with kitchen, living room and bed room. the location was great, walking distance to all the main areas and the subway (subte, 3 lines) but - the rooms are very old, the air-conditioner was old and noisy, the furnitures were very old.

Staying in San Nicolas

Neighborhood Profile
San Nicolas
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks. The financial district is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours. After dark, the hubbub migrates to Corrientes Ave., where theater lovers might start their evening at a play and end it in one of the many traditional pizzerias nearby. During the day, Corrientes is known for its many bookshops and classic cafés, which are located just minutes away from some famous landmarks, like the Obelisco, Avenida 9 de Julio, and the Teatro Colon.
