This hotel is beyond awesome! The rooms are clean and well furnished, the breakfast excellent and the staff constantly cheerful and extremely helpful. We stayed for a total of five nights on three different occasions on a recent trip to Antarctica and Iguazu Falls and our expectations were exceeded every time. Restaurant bookings were made, taxis were called and advice...

Easily one of the best hotels I have stayed in South America. The hotel itself is small - very boutique as the name suggest - so you get very personal service by the friendly and welcoming staff at any hour of the day. We stayed here several times between November 2011 and January 2012. So we didn't have to take...

From the arranged pick up from the airport to the cab back on our departure, nothing too much trouble for the staff. Snacks, tea & coffee available through the day. Hot breakfast cooked to order. Great value laundry at $20 per bag. We stayed twice during our tour of South America, plus our son stayed at a different time, each...

We stayed at the Duque Hotel for 2 nights and would have stayed longer if we could. There aren't words that I can think of to complement the entire staff. We truly felt that we were at home. Our room was always clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, not rushed, and in a nice room with a view of the...

I recommend the Duque after spending the first night of our recent honeymoon there this spring. The lovely back garden area is a delightful space, the hotel staff were delightful and accommodating, even calling back and recovering funds from a cabbie who tried to pull a fast one on us! Our room was comfortable, clean and stylish, and staff even...

My boyfriend and I chose this hotel based on the great reviews and we absolutely loved it! I am normally quite demanding because I studied hotel management, but this time I have nothing to point out! Amazing location, super helpful staff, spacious rooms, great breakfast, awesome value for money.

We stayed for one week at the Hotel Duque and were very happy with it. The rooms were small but very clean, the breakfast was good but not great, but the friendliness and the helpfulness of the young staff made the whole experience outstanding!! The location was also very good and walking distance to great restaurants and shops in Palermo!!

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
