We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in Feb '12 and enjoyed it very much. Ideally located in a safe area and just around the corner of trendy restaurants and boutique shops. Rooms are spacious, including flatscreens and iPod docks. We had a room on the streetside which was a bit noisy, so make sure to close the secondary... More

We had a very late arrival, and, since this is a bed and breakfast, we were not sure if they would have full service available 24 hours a day. When we emailed to let them know that we would not be arriving until well after 1 a.m., the response we got was: "This is your home. Your arrival time is... More

Me and my wife stayed for 4 nights (jan29-fev2 2012) at Duque. No question it is very good: rooms are complete, brand new and very clean. Spa has a small yet relaxing pool, jacuzzi and sauna. There is always free coffee and alfajores, the staff is really helpful and location is good (halfway subway Scalabrini Ortiz. However, based on previous... More

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your feedback on your stay with us. We're really sorry about the minor problems you experienced but we hope that didn't tarnish the image you had of us. Regarding the internet issues, we tried to solve them; but since it was originated by the internet provider, this was unfortunately out of our hands.... More

We stayed at the Duque during January 2012 and can honestly say that the hotel and particularly the staff were excellent. We would not covsider staying anywhwere else for future visits to Buenos Aires. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and their enthusism was evident at all times. Another bonus is that it is only four blocks away... More

Last December, we spent some days in Buenos Aires. Travel Agent organised this hotel and their selection couldn't be faulted. Hotel is not big but it was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly helpful staff. The good breakfast sets you up for the day. The hotel is not in the centre but is... More

We stayed at Duque Hotel from Jan 28-30, 2012. The location is good, cheap taxi-ride from all the main attractions. It is very close to Palermo Soho shopping and dining. Also, there is a grocery store and pharmacy nearby. As for the hotel itself, it is wonderful. The (English-speaking) staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and big... More

They arranged for picking us up from the airport ( at our expense). It was very helpful. If anyone is looking for a big chain hotel this is not the one. Elevator is small but adequate. We recently spent 2 nights at Duque Hotel after arriving in Buenos Aries from a cruise. They arranged for us to be picked up at the cruise terminal and taken to the hotel. We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel was immaculate with very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were very small but well appointed and tastefully furnished. Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
