Great place to stay Great location Very clean Very friendly and helpful staff There’s a pool and a private garden And u get to spend “private” time using their spa which was fun. All you need to do is tell them in advance when you want to use it. The breakfasts are good too… look no further!
Good location on a quiet street, but a little out of the way from the main spots in Palermo Soho which are mainly located between Plaza Armenia and Plaza Serrano. There’s a 24hr grocery store nearby which is convenient and Don Julio is only a few blocks away. My room was clean and had very good WiFi, it faced the street but there was not much of any view. It was rather noisy as I could hear pipes banging constantly and could hear the couple in the room next door and when anyone was in the hall. I did not think the breakfast was very good and opted to go out as there were many great restaurants in Palermo Soho. I liked it, didn’t love it.
We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in early March and loved it. The hotel is charming, front desk staff is very helpful, everybody speaks perfect English. Breakfast is tasty and has good variety of items. Location is perfect. We loved this hotel and highly recommend it to anybody who is visiting Buenos Aires. We stayed in Superior Double Room, and it was a good size room.
We have stayed at El Duque twice, once before the pandemic and recently in March of 2022. The staff of this small hotel are very pleasant and helpful. The front desk is manned 24 hours. They speak excellent English and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The breakfast is very good and includes access to the Expreso machine day or night. Very important for the jet lagged! The ambience of the hotel is very pleasing, with living room and pool cabana area to relax, read a book, or check the internet with free WiFi. We have stayed in other hotels in Buenos Aires but we prefer this hotel and its location in Palermo.
This adorable gem is a beauty... Location is fantastic with everything you need close by. The front desk staff were so helpful with anything we needed help with. The Breakfast was tasty and filling with eggs of your choice to order. The property is very clean with attention to all details. Would highly recommend this property.
Great small hotel feel close to everything. The front desk was helpful, the breakfast was tasty, including made-to-order eggs, and the location was very walkable. The room itself was a bit small, but fine for a couple.
This tranquil space is conveniently located near great restaurants and easy access to transportation. The room was clean and beautiful, the staff we very friendly and helpful, and the pool was invaluable on a hot summer day. The breakfast was great too! Highly recommend!
The communal areas were spacious open with plenty of light considering you are in centre of the city The outdoor space was perfect with a small swimming pool and seating area with sun most of the day The reception staff were exceprtional particularly Ingmar the manager They all spoke excellent English and went out of their way to assist They booked restaurants were there was language difficulties They also allowed us to leave our luggage in storage between stays The room was spacious with all the facilities and amenities you needed The breakfast was OK but too many calorie rich cakes There was no fresh bread and ham was too processed The coffee had no flavour the juice was not fresh and the fruit salad repeated itself every day - apple banana and orange However the onion tomato and cheese omelette was exceptional…
Boutique hotel with 15 rooms. Reception always staffed with a person who speaks English. Hotel has a relationship with a cab company, so you can feel safe travelling to dinner or hiring a cab to show you the sights. Cab drivers do not speak English, but if you write out the names/addresses of places you want to see, you will have no problem Palermo is a great area, so it is convenient. The room we had was immaculate and quite a decent size. There is a tiny pool and with modest outdoor seating, and we enjoyed our wine there daily. Breakfast was good, and the 24 hour coffee machine that ground the beans when you press a button is appreciated. We felt comfortable staying there, even during the pandemic. We did not try the spa as we were too busy running around. Covid restrictions cause museums to be closed or operate with strange hours. Example, Recolete Cemetery was closes due to Covid (?). Check hours before you go. Reception was also helpful in ordering takeout. This is a marvelous spot. We stayed three days.…
We stayed here for three nights and were more than happy with the overall experience. The room was beautiful, there is a nice spa and outside pool and the staff was super attentive and friendly. Any requests we had were taken care of. The only thing that could be improved would be the breakfast, as there was not a lot to choose from. This is quite understandable though as we were the only guests at the time, due to the pandemic and might be different at other times. Other than that absolutely nothing to complain about. Super recommendable.
