The staff are very nice, friendly and helpful. Our room was pretty big and bed comfortable. There was soap in the bathroom (not always the case in South America) and shower cabin was large. Wardrobe, desk, TV, air conditioning in the room. Pretty good location, with only 10 minutes walk to Independencia metro line and few restaurants and shops around. Room was smelling cigarettes when we came in (probably from old times when smoking was allowed). There were no sockets next to the bed, which made charging phones difficult. We couldn't turn on personal lights, located above the bed. Wi-fi was of terrible quality, constantly turning on and off. Our window view was of internal to the building area were pigoens were "hanging out", making it quite noisy at times. Shower head was not properly attached, not allowing to change water flow direction. More about Buenos Aires, Argentina and South America travel on our blog THEKCOUPLE.

The hotel was ok. We booked premium room - don’t really know what was premium about it, very basic room, quite small, small bathroom. We had a lot of luggage and had problems moving around. The safe didn’t work - called the reception twice, never got it fixed. Small bathroom, no mirror in the room, just the bathroom. Very thin doors - we could hear everything In the morning. The location was ok, about 20 min walk to the obelisco and 25-30 to San Telmo. WiFi a bit slow but working okay inside the rooms. Nice and friendly staff. We had one more booking four weeks later but cancelled as weren’t impressed with the property.

The only point that I could say was good the staff. They cannot be blamed for such a bad accommodation. They informed me that the hotel has 3 different types of room and that the difference is quite big. About my room: it was dark, smelly, the bathroom was not clean, the towels had stains. A simple and clean room would be ok, but that was really not the case. Disappointing! I wold never come back and I don't recommend.

We had a nicely spacious room overlooking the street and buildings opposite - quite an interesting view. Not too noisy as we were on the 3rd floor. The air-conditioning was very welcome, but the fridge didn't work and we had to call the management. The room was cleanish, but there were hairs in the shower, and the bed linen was old and not very white - even had a hole. The breakfast was ok, but the supplies were not kept topped up sufficiently unless you asked. They were helpful when we had a problem with a taxi not showing up and phoned on our behalf. The hotel was very well situated for walking your feet off all over the city to really get a feel for it. A pleasant surprise was the little chapel next to the diningroom for anyone wanting to pop in. The management were happy to keep our luggage after check-out until we were going to the airport later in the day so we could continue to enjoy the city.

We were returning from a MSC Cruise so before going back to our country we stayed for a couple of days for a little BAs sightseeing. Everything was as expected, Rocio from the front desk is specially helpful, she let us use the metro bus card pass needed for public transportation so the only thing we had to do was charge it with cash. Also she lend us a power adaptor too. She let us made the early check in at no additional cost. These kind of helpful things make a difference. Breakfast is ok, there some little things they could improve for example the elevators which are very small specially if you have big bags and the elevator's door closes very quickly. A garbage can in the rooms would be another little improvement which are very helpful. The bathroom's door in the room was a little higher from the ground so you can hear almost everything. Beds are confortable for a quick trip. Location of the hotel is good, you are only 20 minutes away walking from El Obelisco and from El Obelisco you can walk another 5 or 7 minutes and you will find the Plaza de Mayo and the Cathedral. From there you can take the Bus 63 and go to El Caminito. On our first day we went to Tierra Santa theme park. You are only minutes away from a Bus stop. In the same block of the hotel you have a mini market, really helpful too. There's a pintoresc little catholic chapel in the hotel so if you are catholic you can pray there. We loved it
