The location was excellent within walking distance of many of the main attractions. Restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel was a typical Novotel of a high standard. The bar area was both indoor and outdoor and service was with a smile. Breakfast was good and ate dinner in the restaurant once which was excewllent.

The best thing about tis hotel is its location in the same centre of Buenos AIres on Avenida des Corrientes, just a few blocks from anything in the central BA. It is a standard Novotel which you can find anywhere around the world. Quite a good standard, not very cheap. Although some more maintenance to the the room equipment would... More

This hotel is located about 200 metres from the Obelisk so is very convenient. We stayed here for a total of 4 days in November and were very impressed. The rooms was quite modern and always presented in excellent condition. What really won us over however was the attitude of the staff. Every staff member we had contact with was... More

I recently stayed at this hotel and I must say there were many good and bad characteristics of this place. Let's start with the good. Good: - Location was amazing! Right in the heart of the theater district and close to all of the monuments, metro, museums and main attractions. - Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Almost always addressed... More

great hotel, wonderful staff, reasonable rates. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Stayed here for 3 days in November 2016. Got sick the first day. The staff called a doctor, checked in on us, helped us as much as possible, and let us stay way past check out time on the last day, because we were still under the weather.... More

I planned this trip two months ago, therefore my expectations were very high. But not for my fortune I had a very unpleasant welcome. I was given a terrible room, furthermore, I was treated in a very impolite way, which I discussed it with the front desk manager, should have better manners to treat passengers.

This is one location that we wished had more days to enjoy. Centrally located for theatre but easy walking distance to various public transportation. Room was well appointed in bright colors similar to European Novotels. Breakfast offerings were adequate in choices. Hotel will arrange airport transfers which we utilized. There are various culture based restaurants in the immediate area as... More

Beside a famous, tasty and cheap pizza shop. Pizza chilli sauce bottle pictured. Expensive and convenient but not big breakfast buffet. Located in theatre area with many brilliant cafes. Rooms are fine with coloured lights in the glass wall shower so you feel like a stripper when showering.

Staying in San Nicolas

Neighborhood Profile
San Nicolas
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks. The financial district is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours. After dark, the hubbub migrates to Corrientes Ave., where theater lovers might start their evening at a play and end it in one of the many traditional pizzerias nearby. During the day, Corrientes is known for its many bookshops and classic cafés, which are located just minutes away from some famous landmarks, like the Obelisco, Avenida 9 de Julio, and the Teatro Colon.
