We stayed here for one night before a cruise leaving Buenos Aires. The room was basic but very clean, bathroom ensuite. The hike up the stairs with our luggage was a struggle but we got some help from a man near the entrance. Priscilla was not present when we arrived and since we didn't speak Spanish we had a little trouble understanding her assistant, but we understood about coming and going and when breakfast was served. We met Priscilla the next morning after breakfast and she was most helpful telling where to go in Buenos Aires and in the area around the hotel. The single greatest thing about Soho is that it sits right above one of the best restaurants in Buenos Aires, La Cabrera. It is famous for its steaks and we had one of the best meals we have ever had in any country.…
Don’t be deceived by the outside exteriors, although the Soho suites doesn’t looking like much it is the perfect place for people who are travelling or just on holiday. We were greeted by Priscilla who couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. She was a brilliant hostess, helping us wherever she could with suggestions of what to do while in Buenos Aires, organising taxis to take us to the airport etc. She speaks perfect English and recommended so many interesting things that we had not heard of. We stayed here for 3 nights and then decided to go to Uruguay for 2 nights, Priscilla let us keep our big bags in the hostel while we were away. Our room was very basic yet perfect for us, with a neutral interior and was well cleaned. The staff were lovely and friendly, although…
We are an Australian couple (31/33) and BA was our first stop from Sydney. Priscilla, Javi and Estelle made us feel instantly welcome and that we were in our second home. Priscilla's English is excellent and as organised so much for us; dinner reservations, tango (authentic and the shows), money exchange etc etc The rooms are really big, beds are super comfy (I'm very fussy) and the rooms are simply but beautifully decorated. And the best thing is the showers have great water pressure! The location is literally above La Cabrera (make a reservation tho) an everything that the very cool Palermo has to offer (shopping that equals if not exceeds London and NYC) plus wicked bars as restaurants everywhere. Overall, I already miss Priscilla and her warmth. It is definitely the…
Priscila was such a help during my stay in Buenos Aires. She organized my ground transportation and made sure I would get access to the rooms when I returned from Mendoza even after hours--all without being reminded. I was at 06soho over the new year's and in the room was I assume a traditional New Year's cake for me. It's those little touches that made the stay so enjoyable. The rooms (I stayed in 3 different rooms because of all my movement) were each slightly different (one had a hairdryer and refrig), but all charming if not a bit quirky. You will hear street noise, but I think that is true if you stay in Palermo and are not in a hermetically sealed room. The location was very convenient to go out to dinner (including 2x at La Cabrera) or to have drinks in the very…
We recently stayed twice at this small and friendly B+B in Palermo (2 nights each). The rooms are clean and simple, with air con, balcony and TV. The free wifi is super fast, and although there is no fridge in the room, you are more than welcome to use the fridge in the main kitchen. The B+B is not advertised outside as such - just watch out for the street number (1407) outside the large black doors. (It is well located and right next door to "la Cabrera" restaurant - an excellent parilla grill that you must try - one of the top rated restaurants in Argentina). Breakfast is served at 9am, so we missed it a few times when we had early starts; and is simple fare consisting of juice, tea/coffee, plain rolls and croissants with butter, jam and the traditional dulce de leche (caramel…
