This was such a refreshing place to stay after a very physically taxing trip in Argentina. Our room was ready when we arrived from an overnight bus trip from Iguasu and we were able to go straight in to it. Sooo clean and spacious. Good...More
Arrived early on a Sat am from an overnight transatlantic flight with Tienda León's transfer service. Obviously a bit early for check in but friendly Front Desk staff Matías stowed our luggage and we went out for a stroll. The neighbourhood is very residential with...More

This is a good option to stay in Recoleta. Excellent location, clean rooms with big beds and kitchenette. Excellent wifi. Helpful staff with pretty good English. There is a supermarket right across the road so you can keep some food in the room, it's open...More
We had four nights at the Ayres de Recoleta Plaza in August 2017. The advantage of this hotel is that it's in a very good area of Buenos Aires, it has a range of restaurants almost on the doorstep, the hop-on-off bus is just a...More

Characterized by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighborhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll
also find a rich cultural scene centered on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.

The hotel is about 45 minutes from the airport. They do not have a shuttle, but if you email them in advance, they can set you up with a shuttle service that meets you with your name on a big sign. It's less $ than a cab and very reliable. They can also set you up with a shuttle back to the airport which is less $ because they don't have to wait around for your plane and customs, etc. It was 700 Argentine dollars or $50 American dollars to get from the airport to the hotel. I have no idea about the cruise terminal.
But they speak English, so email them directly and they will answer you. They are VERY helpful and polite.
