It's inexpensive. We stayed for 3 nights, which included friday and saturday, and it had a lot of people movement. Because of what we saw and heard I think is not a family hotel or at least not if you have little childrenl, if you know what i mean. But If you don't mind, It is in a very strategic... More

Our plane got us into town at 6am - and we were greeted at the reception with our keys to the room plus they told us to go and have some breakfast. The breakfast was self-service with everything fresh and good. The rooms are the right size and the hotel is located near all of the important shopping places and... More

I struggled with how to review this hotel, there were things I really liked and things I really hated about this property. Above all, the location is PERFECT for just about anything in Buenos Aires. The rooms are adequate, very clean and VERY HOT. You must call and request that the A/C be turned on for your room - then... More

We looked at 6 other hotels many not so nice for far more money before finding this little gem. On a quiet corner of Parque Roma and within easy walking distance to shops, resturants, spas, salons and the biggest mall in the city and the BUQEBUS ferry to Montevideo. The rooms were smallish, older European style, but super clean and well... More

Staying in San Nicolas

Neighborhood Profile
San Nicolas
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks. The financial district is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours. After dark, the hubbub migrates to Corrientes Ave., where theater lovers might start their evening at a play and end it in one of the many traditional pizzerias nearby. During the day, Corrientes is known for its many bookshops and classic cafés, which are located just minutes away from some famous landmarks, like the Obelisco, Avenida 9 de Julio, and the Teatro Colon.
