We stayed here for 7 days on our honeymoon. there's a reason why this place is no.1 on TA. The staff are super helpful and multi talented. clearly the best place to stay in BA especially if you want Soho. we were both sick whilst in BA but this had nothing to do with the hotel and we think without... We stayed there for our honeymoon in October 2009, not too long after the hotel was opened, I think? The place itself is a small minimalist marvel, really beautiful if that is your aesthetic, in a really happening neighborhood. We stayed in a suite, which was more than spacious, with curtains that could completely block out the sun, great for... More

The Glu Hotel is a small but modern, spacious oasis in Buenos Aires with excellent service. I stayed for three weeks for work and the room was large and comfortable with a small separate seating area, microwave and mini refrigerator, flat panel television, a large shower and a patio overlooking the street. There is free internet access in the room.... More

Stayed here while in BA for work. I wanted their suite for the whole stay, but was only available for half of my trip. Upon arrival, the staff was incredibly friendly and offered me something to drink immediately. I was escorted to the suite which was very very nice. The suite was spacious, had 2 doors to the huge balcony,... More

The service at the hotel was really fantastic but the hotel location is a bit dire (yes its in Palermo but not on a nice street). We waited to write this review as we had no perspective as to what to expect from Argentinian hotels and wanted to have perspective. We have subsequently stayed at other hotels in the area... More

I cannot say enough good things about the Glu Hotel. The main reason for it 's 5 star rating is the outstanding service. The staff is warm, friendly, available, and incredibly informative and helpful! The boutique hotel has a good location, within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. The staff made dinner reservations for us every night and did... More

We booked the Glu hotel for a 4 night stay in BA having seen the reviews on trip advisor and really enjoyed it. Our room was well appointed and a good size (we went for one up from standard). The hotel has a nice feel, homely but modern. We enjoyed eating our breakfast every day in the small garden area.... More

Two couples began our 10 day stay in Argentina at the Glu Hotel. From the moment we arrived the English speaking staff was friendly, funny and welcoming. The small lobby area (which is also where breakfast is served) is bright and cheerful, enclosed with windows and tastefully decorated. There are also three other pleasant common areas…a small room in the... More

A small botique hotel with a big heart. The front desk is very helpful and friendly and language is no barrier! They are well informed of the restaurants, parks, shopping, etc. Accommodations are very clean and quiet...particularly in the 9th largest city in the world. The front desk will also confirm flights and hotels and print boarding passes. Complimentary breakfasts... More

We spent a week in Buenos Aires this March, staying at the Glu Hotel. I've never seen such dedicated customer service! The girls at the reception really did everything you could ask for, and more. The hotel itself is beautiful and tiny, located in the center of the beautiful Palermo area, packed with shops and restaurants. Our room was spacious,... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
