Absolutely excellent experience. Great location. Large comfortable room wonderful service. Of particular note was the assistance from Catarina who provided front desk services. She helped with local information, reservations and taxis. She was always pleasant and helpful.

This is an excellent hotel offering value from its level of service and size of its rooms. The location is a good one within Palermo SoHo., close to services, restaurants, and points of interest. It’s price point is well below its value delivered.

From the moment we arrived, Natalia was so accommodating. We arrived mid morning after a long flight. She offered us refreshments and a place to put our luggage. By noon, our room was ready. Throughout our stay, Natalia and the rest of the staff offered us restaurant ideas, arranged a great tango show and helped us with taxis. Our room, while in the front of the property, was quiet and very large. I will definitely staff here next time I am in Buenos Aires.

This cute little hotel is tucked in between a city block. The rooms are spacious and clean with a sweet little balcony out back. The real charm was the front desk staff including Thomas and Natalia who worked effortlessly and patiently to find us restaurants, entertainment and gave us helpful tips. They are kind and knowledgable and an asset to the company.

The hotel is nice, well situated and very comfortable. Our room is spacious and quiet which I particularly enjoy! I must say what it makes this hotel a 5/5 is Natalia at the front desk. Her hospitality and service orientation is amazing. She has been a star since the beginning. We will definitely come back with out doubt!!

Natalia, whom I had the most interaction with before, during and after our stay, as well as the rest of the staff, including at the front desk, housekeeping and servers, were absolutely amazing! Way beyond 5 or even 7 stars and way more helpful and personal than any 4 seasons or like hotel! Carolina, the co-owner I believe, even dropped us off to our restaurant on Xmas eve when no taxis were available! Very cozy and comfortable boutique hotel with a great location in the coveted Palermo area.

The room was quite large, and the bathroom very small. It's comfortable. Breakfast was nice, they bring you eggs, pastry, ham and cheese, and you can have it in the lobby or your room. Everyone is very friendly. It was pouring rain for the two days we were there. No umbrellas available. They suggested we walk 6 blocks to a mall to find one. Other than that misstep it's a nice hotel, albeit a bit basic. It's not luxury but comfortable.

This family-run hotel is in the heart of Palermo Soho, which is such a vibrant, artistic neighborhood. So many great shops and restaurants there. The Glu Hotel is just a few blocks from Plaza Serrano and Plaza Armenia, and a bit longer walk to the municipal EcoParque and other large parks. So the location is excellent. The service at the Glu Hotel is impeccable. After making our reservation, I soon received a personal confirmation email from the front desk, in addition to the automated confirmation. We had booked two rooms for four people. The front desk asked whether we wanted the beds set up as singles or king, and asked if we needed any other assistance. Upon my request, the front desk staff also helped us figure out what to do on Christmas Eve, as I wasn't sure what would be open over the Christmas holiday. (We stayed at the Glu Hotel from Dec 23 - Dec 29, 2023.) They recommended a dinner and tango show, offering a couple different options, and also recommended local restaurants in Palermo Soho that they knew would be open Christmas Eve (if we didn't want to do the dinner-tango show). We ended up opting for the dinner-tango show at La Ventana, and I'd highly recommend it. Prior to our arrival, the front desk also arranged for a shuttle service from EZE airport to the hotel (upon our request), which was very helpful as it was our first trip to EZE and we weren't sure about cabs / Ubers. Note that this was the high level of service we received before even arriving at the hotel. I should note too that the communication between the staff members clearly was seamless, as these pre-arrival requests sometimes took a couple of emails back and forth over a day or two, and sometimes different staff members would respond, but each one picked up right where the other one left off. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Natalia, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming. It was such a nice welcome after the 11-hour red eye flight. And Natalia knew exactly who we were, had our room reservations ready, and helped get us oriented with the hotel and with the neighborhood. We were soon to learn that every single member of the front desk staff that we met -- including Carolina, Patricia, Laurencio, and I believe Tomy -- is equally wonderful and helpful. The hotel is family-owned. The family members we met were all gracious, welcoming, attentive to detail, incredibly professional, and just super pleasant to be around. All the front desk staff are highly trained and know exactly what is going on, what requests you have made for car services, etc. All are 100% fluent in English. (Only one of our party spoke Spanish so this was very helpful for us.) The Glu Hotel facilities are impeccable. The common areas, rooms, and bathrooms are spotless. The beds are very comfortable (which I find to be a rare occurrence when we travel). There were sitting areas in each or our rooms, plenty of storage space for clothes (drawers and a closet area), a fridge, a microwave, a safe, and tall chairs/counter space where you can eat or write. There is an air conditioning unit in each room, and you can control the setting with a remote. Each room had a balcony with chairs and a little table. The water pressure in the shower is absolutely amazing and there's plenty of hot water. The rooms seem to be sound-proofed because we didn't hear a peep from other rooms or from the neighborhood. There is cleaning service every day. The cleaning staff are equally helpful and conscientious. My husband accidentally left the room safe open one day and returned a few minutes later to get something (not even realizing the safe was open), and one of the cleaning staff immediately pointed it out to him. The cleaning staff seem to speak mainly Spanish but she made sure to make herself understood by my husband regarding the safe. While we were there, we needed some dining suggestions a couple of times, and the front desk staff gave us excellent suggestions. Another day, one of our party wanted to buy books in Spanish, and Natalia recommended La Ataneo bookstore in Recoleta. (It is a very cool bookstore situated in a former theater with ornate architectural detail.) On yet another day, upon our request, Patricia gave us a suggestion on where to change USD to AR pesos. The recommended place was close by and had an excellent exchange rate. There is breakfast included in the room rate. It is served from about 8:30am-11am, and is freshly made to order. The front desk staff takes your order and relays it to the kitchen staff. You can enjoy your breakfast in the front room (just off of the front desk), overlooking the street -- looking out the large front window at passersby, or at the open-air patio/courtyard at the back, or in your room. If you prefer, you can even just call down your breakfast order and the kitchen staff will bring it to your room. Choices include coffee, orange juice, eggs, medialuna, toast, fruit bowl, ham and cheese. One day we were heading to the Colonia ferry and had to leave the hotel at 8am. The night before we mentioned this to the front desk, and they arranged for a light breakfast for us to be ready at 7:40am, which is outside the normal hours. As other reviews have mentioned, the front door to the hotel is kept locked, which helped make us feel secure. The front desk is just a few steps from the front door. The desk is always manned, 24/7. So they see you coming up the steps and have the door open for you -- day or night -- right away. Meaning, don't worry, there is no standing around waiting for someone to open the door. As mentioned above, the Glu Hotel location is excellent. Right on the immediate block that the hotel is situated in, there are clothing shops, and there is a bakery right next door that sells yummy sandwiches in addition to pastries, and there is a little corner store at the end of the block where you can get snacks or little personal items or bottles of water, etc., as you head out on your adventures. I hope this review conveys just how pleasant the staff is and how attentive to detail and how attentive to guests' needs, how clean the hotel is, how great all the services and amenities are, and how great the location. It was an absolute pleasure to stay at the Glu Hotel. I'm trying to think of a down side just to make the review complete, and I really can't. The hotel really made our visit to Buenos Aires very, very pleasant. It was a haven to come home to after a long day of sight seeing.

My wife and I recently spent thirteen nights at the Glu Hotel while on a sightseeing trip to Buenos Aires. It was a perfect haven in that big, bustling vibrant city. Each night, often late, we returned to a warm greeting and a spacious comfortable room. In the mornings we sat in the courtyard or on our cosy, sunny balcony savoring fruit salad, croissants, scrambled eggs and cafe de leche. Our room was well equipped and quiet despite being in a busy part of Palermo What made our stay at the Glu most comforting however was the caring, sweet, professional staff members who made every effort to help us navigate our explorations of the city. A special thanks to Elana and Natalia.
