Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.

The staff (in particular Marianela) were so friendly and helpful. The hotel is just two blocks away from the bustle of Soho shops and restaurants, but on a quiet street so you can get a great night sleep. The rooms are spacious and clean, have A/C, and you get a glass of wine as a welcome. I'm glad I picked this hotel for my return trip as well.

We’ve just spent 3 days/2 nights in the Miravida and I would highly recommend it. The location is perfect, close enough to the centre for sight seeing but far enough away to feel like you’re not in “touristy” area. Palermo has lovely little cafes and bars and everyone was incredibly friendly. The hotel itself is beautiful, as was our bedroom, which was spacious and well equipped and came with the bonus of a little terrace. The staff were just lovely, they did everything to make our stay special, and provided advice and organised taxis etc. The breakfast, with freshly squeezed orange juice, was delicious, clearly all home made, and it set us up for our days filled with sight seeing. We are fortunate enough that we will be stopping for one more night in the way home (and partaking is the wine tasting).

Very pleasant and comfortable stay. Great location, easy access to metro and good selection of bars and restaurants nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful, explained location and how to get around the city and points of interest. Nice complimentary glass of wine on arrival and surprise anniversary treat. Good choice of breakfast made fresh to order. Penthouse suite comfortable with nice balcony, there were lots of steps to get to penthouse so be wary if you have restricted mobility

The Miravida is a small hotel (7 rooms) in Palermo Soho. We stayed at the Miravida on three separate occasions during our Argentina trip and each time had a different room, all of which were spacious and comfortable. My favourite was on the second floor - the first floor room faced onto the street and was noisy (although was very spacious), and the third floor room is a split level and on its own on the top floor with a little balcony. The drop in star is because it is looking a bit tired - for example, some of the ceiling in the top floor room had collapsed into the shower (it has been raining hard) and the window in the second floor room's bathroom had been patched up with concrete. A massive head's up to the staff, who are helpful, friendly and work very hard - they even provided us with recommendations for the various places we visited during our trip!

We were a family of three adults so wanted to find a hotel where we were in one room. The Miravida Soho seemed perfect since there was a king size bed and a sofa bed. 5 stars: We arranged from the hotel to have a driver pick the three of us up at EZE airport for $50. He was very personable and if he wanted to ask us something used a translator on his phone. We have been to Buenos Aires on several occasions so we are familiar with the fastest route. He drove on the freeways which also required paying for tolls. Our arrival to the hotel was 40 minutes. 5 stars: The staff who worked at the hotel were fluent in English and very kind. I only know Rosario by name but the others were great as well. On the last day, we had to catch an 8:00 flight so we were offered some toast, sweet breads, juice and coffee at 6:30 which was very nice. On regular days, there were wonderful and delicious breakfast choices. The staff was always eager to please. 4.5 stars: We were in room 1 which had a comfortable king size bed and a rather old and uncomfortable pull out sofa for our adult daughter. There was a small refrigerator and a Keurig which we appreciated. If a person is a light sleeper, there was some noise from the street. 5 stars: Location to some great steak restaurants: Cabernet and Don Julio. 2 stars: We arranged with the hotel to have a driver take us back to EZE. We had a different driver than the one who picked us up. I think he said his name was Domingo but not positive. We were able to briefly communicate with his limited English and our limited Spanish. He did not take the freeways but wound through the neighborhoods to avoid the tolls. It took quite a bit longer. I had told him as we were about to enter the airport that we were flying Aerolinea Delta. He parked the car at Terminal A which listed the airlines at that terminal. I told him "no Delta" but he proceeded to take out our luggage. Turns out after asking several people inside the terminal that Delta was at Terminal C which was a distance away, not happy since we had to lug very heavy luggage. Please do not ever use this person again. This has never happened to us before. He simply didn't care.
