Rooms were nice, perhaps not as nice as the photos. Staff was nice for the most part. Every day they forgot to leave enough towels for the entire family. Breakfast was included but did not change. Eggs made to order, a variety of breads and croissants, yogurt, fruit, etc. Juices seemed a little watered down, but otherwise everything was good....

We stayed one night because of a layover. My son became very ill and I had to run around the city to buy medication, exchange dollars, take taxis to the hospital, etc. The front desk staff was so helpful and accommodating and assisted me throughout the whole process. I wish I knew some of their names so I could thank...

It`s a ok hotel compared to how much it costs. You can not expect too much paying their rate. Everything was clean and neat, the breakfast is complete and the staff nice and friendly. Great neighboorhood.

On arrival after many hours of flying, tired, I was told at the reception, that the single room I had reserved many months ahead, was at the street side and very noisy, so I could upgrade for...... Well, I got angry at this first attempt of getting money from a tourist and wasn't willing to negotiate. So two nights were...

The hotel is ok if you don't have high standards. I ignore the price of other hotels in Buenos Aires, but I think that for the money I gave them, it could be better. Even if you can see that somebody cleaned the room, you still can see that everything is quite... old and not very... clean. I don't know...

Stayed there for two nights. Good location close to Recoleta, Retiro and Centro. Easy walk to lots of attractions and the subway at San Martin. Good restaurants locally with some very fine (and pricey) dining in Recoleta Rooms are fine but not fancy. Staff are very helpful; checked our luggage both coming and going and also booked shuttle to airport...

Staying in Retiro

Neighborhood Profile
Retiro
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighborhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
