Worst hotel ever. Extremely bad value for money, Rooms are small, poorly furnished and dirty. During the night prostitutes work in front of the hotel. But worst is the service. They denied a friend access to the hotel. Allthough I had a reservation for 4 nights I had to leave after 2 nights because they were overbooked (which was the best that could happen to me).
Avoid!

3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2008

I stayed in the Hotel Paname for two nights on february 2008. The hotel staff is courteous and offer a good service. They made all my and the other guests wishes and requests come true.
It to result on a damaged washbasin, not working air conditioner and total smoked room. As a Non-Smoker annoyed me this fact , combined with sticky air anyway.
Altough I did stay until the next day , the chambermaid let the door open in the morning hours.
But the breakfast was , compared to a regular argentinien breakfast , ample and delicous. I got more than one cup tea, as usullay served. There' s also an PC with Internet-Connection for guests. This service cost s no more than in a cyber-cafe.
Overall I paid 130 Peso ( 41.20 US-Dollar) . That's too much for it.

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
