Let me start by saying that my review is a bit unusual and largely based on a difficult circumstance that I encountered recently in BsAs. I've lived for parts of 4 years a couple of blocks away, so I know the barrio and the location, but have never stayed there. On my most recent visit, I was staying with an old girlfriend - when the visit went real bad, real fast - as in like 5am, necessitating my hasty retreat from said girlfriend's apt. I'm literally walking the street and looking for a place to camp out for my last day - so I decided to check out this place. Alas, they did have a room and after sharing my bizarre story and good laugh, gave me a good rate and a badly needed bed. My flight was the next night, and they kindly allowed me a late check-out at 4pm. So, I was basically in this hotel for a day and a half - for the price of a single night. I can't thank the staff enough and can whole-heartedly recommend this hotel on this alone.

Oh yeah, the place is beautiful and an excellent value. WiFi works everywhere and is super fast for BsAs. Location is in the middle of the best neighborhood in the city - Canitas. Check it out - you'll like it.

We were looking for a boutique, small-scale, less expensive hotel that the big commercial hotel chains in Buenos Aires, and stayed at Tailor Made for one night of our trip based on the Trip Advisor recommendations. We enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms are simple, almost spartan, but comfortable.
The management was very helpful to us in helping us navigate the area, pick a place to go for dinner and tango, that kind of thing. They also served a nice breakfast in the morning.
Note: We actually stayed here a few years ago in August, but I could not choose that far back in the "when did you travel" pull-down menu, so I selected the month we stayed, August, in the wrong year.

Tailor Made Hotel is a small property in the cool neighborhood of "Las Canitas", the hotel has only 5 rooms, decorated in shades of white and greys, making it look very modern. Each room has a Mac Mini so that you can access internet and even play your favorite songs in your room. The hotel has bycicles so that you can go around and trhough the parks nearby.
The area hasmany shops and restaurants in walking distance. I recomend for young people that already have visited Buenos Aires more than once and are want to know a different area of the city, other than Recoleta and Palermo soho. Deffinitely will go back!

I had some friends coming from abroad and I was looking for a nice location to show them around. This place was just perfect. All you can think of is included in the rate (laundry, wifi), just ask and the staff will help you out.
The location is fantastic, you have a lot of different options to go out at night and during the day you can easily access public transportation.

This is my 2nd stay at Tailor Made, and wanted to leave a quick review. I don´t know what it is about this place, but I suddenly feel twice as cool after seeing here for a night. It´s not cookie cutter cool like the W Hotel (which I do like by the way), but a genuine and comfortable hipness. From the minimalist yet comfy lobby to the rooms painted in white, the design here is really top notch. It´s located in Las Cañitas, but I highly reccomend the location even for those that would rather stay in Palermo. Why? The neighborhood is extremely safe, you can walk around at all hours of the night, it´s filled with nice restaurants and bars, and you´re in Palermo with a 3 minute taxi ride. The staff is great and make you feel more like a member of the Tailor Made family than a guest at a hotel. The beds are comfortable, you´ve got a mac computer in each room so you can watch Online video on your computer, and the "all extras are free" touch is really nice. Whether its water, wi-fi, soft drinks, snacks in the lobby 24 hours a day (the granny smith apples are excellent!), you really feel like youre getting a good value. Cleanliness wasnt an issue, and being an extremely messy person myself, the maid service was great. Highly recommend it.
