There are so many people who say "there weren't many Brits at the hotel". I would personally say "So What!" - but you can only get more Brits at the hotel if more Brits go there - and you really should. Here's why: I'm a solo traveller and communication is important to me. All the staff were great and nothing was too much trouble, even keeping the lobby open after the hotel had shut so that I was safe and could get to the airport - they even made me a packed lunch/dinner. It's good to talk - Brits or not - everyone was really friendly, if you make the effort to try, then people from other countries will try as well - if you're attitiude stinks, well, what do you expect? On the last night a lovely bunch of Turkish people invited me to join their table. We drank, talked a bit and danced - one of the ladies gave me her bracelet as a momento. I will always remember their warmth and hospitality. The chefs always asked me how my food was. Well actually it was rather surprisingly good. Always grilled meats, pastas, good variety of salads - fantastic fresh crusty bread. I brought my usual marmite and marmalade, just in case, but I really didn't need it - and there was real butter, something that can lack in other hotels. Plus, the desserts were really good and, if anyone has read any of my other reviews, I don't eat the puddings unless they are up to standard. There was apple pie, meringues, profiteroles and the fresh melon is so good - well done Golden Age, I was impressed. This place is kept really clean. Yes a little jaded in places but I stayed at the very end of the season so I'm sure that the hotel will patch up the bits that need patching. Having said that, my room was great, just the flooring needs a bit of work. I was in the annexe, so no view, but that's what I paid for so I can't complain. Wi-fi is fine in the public areas and the pool - not in my room but I didn't expect to get it there - and it's free! (in other hotels I have been charged). The safety deposit box is also free! The sea is crystal clear and the bay is stunning. There is some construction work underway that makes the headland look a bit ugly but it will improve once finished, should be much better next summer. There was no noise though because no building goes on during holiday season. I really enjoyed the entertainment - the dance troupe are fantastic and somehow I fell into the daytime activities by accident - the team aren't pushy but very engaging. And thank you for the Zumba classes - I want to take it up in the UK now as well. It looks like a very good hotel for families as well, with many kids pools and the fun slides as well. I would definitely recommend this to other travellers - solo, couples, families. It's a great holiday for everyone.

This hotel has aged. Rooms are falling a part. Furniture and beds are old and run down. I have to change room due to air condition was not working and ended up with a room with shower leaking all over the bathroom. Presentation of food in the restaurants were not very hygienic as a result 4 persons in my party got sick. Beach chairs were dirty and mattresses were very old.

just came home after spending a glorious 2 weeks in this hotel for the 2nd time. every where you went was spotless. staff were very friendly and food was good although a bit limited at times. only negative point was the lack of alcohol this time round. unless you like vodka gin beer or wine then you were stuck as this was all they were serving this year. would definitely go for a third time

The hotel is good, but in very busy in season. Especially in the restaurant!!! Beach is ok, a little shallow first and deep also if to swim a bit far, with nice platform in the sea! Beach was busy too during busy season. Service was ok, but REALLY poor wi-fi signal. I had no wi-fi in my room AT ALL. And in lobby it was very poor and slow. I was in June 2017, I hope this year is better. Food was ok, some nice variety, but I wish they had more fish. It was fish first but after they got busy - it was turkey and other meat. Mostly Turkish families with kids, or some rare couples. So not for young people. They had a nice spa in hotel and I took hamam one time. But spa owner was a typical Turkish village man who being a married man , was trying to flirt and date with girls. Was asking my phone number all the time - I had some stress with him. ))
