You’ll find this place tucked at the foot of Mount Babadag. Green hillsides provide the backdrop, so great views are in no short supply. What’s more, there’s a sand-and-shingle beach just a couple of minutes’ walk away. And the world-famous Olu Deniz Lagoon can be reached in ten minutes.Back at the hotel, the pool takes centre-stage. It’s in the shape of a figure-of-eight and is bordered by bright pink bougainvillea and cushioned loungers. There’s a poolside snack bar with an al fresco terrace, too. Elsewhere, an indoor pool and a traditional Turkish bath provide additional take-it-easy spots, while a tennis court caters for the more active crowd.

We went for the half term holidays in October (2 adults and 3 children, aged 6, 4 and 1). We originally booked a family bunk bed room but on the room pictures it didn't seem like the rooms would be spacious for us all so we asked for a family connecting room which was a double bedroom and a twin bed room with a shared bathroom. The bedrooms and shower room was basic, we have stayed in better but was decent enough with space and to sleep. The double bed was definitely more comfortable to sleep on than the single beds. The other downside of this room (room 424) was that we had to climb 2 flights of stairs outside to get to our room on the top floor. They had no lifts to get to that room so with a buggy and carrying the little one each day up and down the stairs was hard work as you can imagine. I dont really think this place is very user friendly for families with buggies and even those who have disability chairs due to the windy pathways and deep slopes. Anyway, as you can imagine at this time of year (Ed of October) the outdoor pools were pretty cold so my kids only went in once. The indoor pool was a huge downfall, I am sure it was supposed to be heated but was abololutely freezing so noone used it. I didn't really like the look of the indoor pool either to be honest. I have been to much better. The kids Club was not open during the whole week we were there, dont know if this was because of covid but would have expected this to be open considering there was really no social distancing from holiday makers in the hotel. They had a little park beside the kids club building which our kids spent some time on but really nothing else for the kids. We Visited the blue lagoon which was lovely so would highly recommend this at least once. Walkable or you can get a cheap taxi or bus drive. We got a taxi there and walked back :). Oludeniz town centre was literally a 5 mins walk. We went there often. We all had a haircut at Sezgin who was amazing and just chilled around the beach in some of the restaurants restaurants also bought plenty of clothes and shoes from there. We visited Fethiye (Erasta shopping centre) which was brilliant, especially the indoor playground for the kids. Defo a must. It was probably a 15-20 mins taxi drive. We checked out Hisanoru town centre too, it was pretty quiet due to end of season but was a nice walk. The food in the hotel was OK. I've had better Turkish food in restaurants but they still had some varieties and something you can choose to eat. Some things were quite tasteless but others were edible. But we still managed to eat enough each time. Overall, I don't think I would come back to this hotel with my young kids as it wasn't as we expected. Although, the area itself was nice to visit.

We were originally booked into a different hotel, but moved to this one by TUI three weeks before departing. What a result this turned out to be. Situated about a 5 minute walk from OluDeniz beach, this hotel, set in a very green and sympathetic way, is a good family hotel. Despite being half term, it’s probably wasn’t as busy as normal due to Covid etc, but it never felt overly busy or crowded - there was always plenty of sunbeds by the pool, and plenty of tables in the restaurant. The pool was a good size, the water a little cold, but given the time of year and that the sun doesn’t peak out from behind the mountains until about 10am, understandable. One negative I suppose is that the indoor pool is not heated, and is ice cold all day, and as such, I never saw anyone using it. The animation team work hard - Barry organises sports and games in a nice way, and Rosie is great with the kids. We don’t normally use the kids club on holiday, but Rosie would come and ask round the pool if the kids would like to try an activity, and if our daughter fancied it, off she happily went. The food choice is good, the quality likewise - I heard a few people bemoan a lack of options, but it kept our family of 4 (2 adults, a 6 and 1 year old) all fed and full for a week, without ever feeling bored of the choices. For me, the best part of this hotel isn’t actually at the hotel - it’s the private beach area at the blue lagoon. There is a free minibus, which is a 10 minute ride, or if you do fancy the walk, it’s a 2.5km yomp - quite a nice run actually if you’re into your running! (I did it twice!) The beach is beautiful, fairly secluded and peaceful - the restaurant and bar there are also great, but not included in the AI, but also, prices not unreasonable. The rooms are good, again, I’ve stayed in better, but I think are fair value - beds are fairly comfortable, bathroom is spacious enough and the greenery and setting of the rooms and buildings in general has been very nicely done. The town of OluDeniz itself is quite small, and easily doable on foot. Aside from Paragliding , high is seemingly the main draw of the town (very peaceful to watch from the ground also!), there is a cable car back up the hill from town which I would highly recommend - 25 lira each way from the hotel in the taxi, and 80 lira for the cable car - the kids were free - well worth it for the views!

As soon as we arrived, we instantly loved the vibe of Sun City and made friends straight away. The Beach club location is stunning and the hotel was very clean, with everything you could need. The entertainment staff were great and it was a pleasure getting to know them. Never had such a fab holiday. The worst thing was having to leave, but we look forward to returning with our new friends one day.
