Stayed at this hotel with my partner. Lovely hotel.....clean .....friendly and ideal location as not far from the beach of Olu Deniz. Stayed for 10 days and enjoyed my holiday from start to finish. Staff are very helpful and go out of their way to make your stay a pleasant experience. Hotel is very clean as are the rooms. Food is good with plenty of variety.....restaurant and bar staff are lovely. Animation team are a good laugh and keep you entertained day and night. All in all I will not hesitate to return to this hotel.

Due to the pandemic, this was 3 years in the making, having looked at other hotels, this one came out tops. Reading the reviews didn’t deter us from what was going to be an outstanding holiday to remember! It was my 1st time to Türkiye (my Fiancée’s 2nd time), my in-laws have been going to Olu for 15 years & we thought we’d surprise them on their 3rd week out there. We conveniently booked Suncity, due to location , price (With British Airways Holidays) & what it has to offer, we obviously read the reviews, but only take any review from face value. I emailed the hotel prior to arrival for a ground floor room (as by Fiancée has walking difficulties) & the fact we was arriving late after dinner had finished, if they could possibly provide us with any food. The said they would try to fulfil our request, which is understanding if they are at capacity. We arrived at Suncity at 11pm (Check out Holiday Extras for transfer prices from Dalaman), the female receptionist welcomed us & recommended we got straight to the snack bar which was still open & to leave our luggage in the lobby. So we did just that & thoroughly enjoyed our tasty burger & chips, which certainly filled a gap! Returned to reception & the porter took all our luggage (dismissed any assistance to help him) to our room & gave us all the important info on route to our block & basics of our room & hotel info, which was great. Room was lovely, bright, clean & modern, comfy bed with water in fridge (help yourself to bottles from any bar), air con & lovely bathroom too! We had no issues whatsoever with the food! Breakfast, lunch & dinner was plentiful, tasty & of good quality, always found something. My fiancée (Bless her) can be fussy, but happily enjoyed her meals. You will not go hungry! Salads & deserts are to die for, wow!! Tea time biscuits in reception was a nice little treat! No issues with sun beds, even at 10.30am (bear in mind it was during school season) great little shop & prices for spa/barber/etc was very reasonably priced. Pools were refreshing, it too cold, but warmed up during the day, loved it! Bar & all restaurant staff were extremely attentive, friendly & took time to chat to you about you day etc, couldn’t fault them at all, thank you everyone involved! Location & scenery is outstanding, watching the paragliding as they pop out over the mountains is amazing to watch & the strip is only 5 min walk, not loud enough to hear from the hotel at night. Make sure you go to the Blue Lagoon via the hotels shuttle bus, 10 min trip. Food & drinks worth the price & delicious! Incredible scenery, warm waters & the Peddlows are worth the price too! Would definitely recommend Suncity & already looking at next year. The in-laws were in complete shock when we met up with them on our 2nd night, we showed them around Suncity on our last day & they was very impressed with the facilities & how big the complex actually is! We want to thank all management & hard working staff for a very memorable time for our holiday in Olu, thoroughly enjoyed each day. Highly Recommended, hope to see you again soon Suncity! Fabulous setting - lovely hotel surrounded by pretty mountains within The Blue Lagoon. Superb hotel - spacious and clean rooms changed every day. Staff can’t do enough for you - special thanks to bar staff, waiters, housekeeping ladies, animation team - Elvis & Barry, photography man. Nice lady maybe a Manageress in and around restaurant. Food is plentiful, good choices and fresh, fresh, fresh. There’s a beautiful private beach reached by courtesy free bus apparently but never actually got there but told it is gorgeous. Next time I’ll visit. Few mins walk around the corner to the Strip with lots of shops, bars and restaurants. Great fun at the Cherry pub. Food and wine at Mimosa’s restaurant - delicious. Great bags and purses at Jeff’s. Short walk to watch the para-gliding at beach breathtaking views especially as the sun goes down. Live music in the bars. A party of 11 of us returned last night from a wonderful weeks stay at Sun City I was a little concerned after reading the previous reviews that we had made a bad choice, but thankfully we all had an amazing stay My son and his fiance were booked to get married on the Monday, but due to the bride to be being very poorly, the wedding sadly had to be cancelled On arrival at 11.30pm the check in was very fast, and Speedy ( that's what he said was his name) insured all of our cases were taken to the rooms and we were shown where we could get food and drinks before midnight which was lovely The rooms although a little tired, were spotlessly clean and the beds and pillows very comfy Storage was plentiful with lots of hanging space and drawers to pop your clothes in The maid service was excellent with 4 fresh towel changes during our week All 11 of us in our party loved the food and after mentioning on arrival that myself and my friend were vegetarian, were given Vegetarian cards to show to the Chef each evening, where upon he showed us all the foods we could eat. I love all the salads and fresh foods, and the sweets were really yummy The waiters were lovely bar one, who sadly didn't smile and omitted to use deodorant, making leaning over to remove empty plates a little uncomfortable for those near to his armpits...... The breakfast was equally good especially the porridge which I had daily and the omelets and pancakes were delicious The bar manager was a star, always smiling and working so hard to keep everyone's drinks flowing The gardens are absolutely beautiful, so so pretty and well kept with the added edition of a few beautiful kittens and their mummy who I was delighted to see being fed by the hotels restaurant manager ( I'm sorry I can't remember her name) with lots of sachets of whiskas food. The pool area was kept immaculate and there were plentiful sunbeds if needed Thank you so much to all of the staff for ensuring we all had an amazing stay. Having the wedding cancelled was very upsetting for us all, but we all agreed our stay was 100% This was our 9th visit to Olu Deniz staying in differed hotels, and Sun city has to be one of my favourites We hope to see you all again, and look after the kittens please Love from the Marabella and Goode gang xx …

Hotel was lovely, the grounds where beautiful, the pool areas excellent and the staff, generally very good, helpful and friendly. My room was lovely and standard of housekeeping, was superb. Food was good, a bit repetative at times, but there's still plenty of choice, the salad bar was brilliant. Sometimes, particularly when the weather was bad and outside seating wasn't available, there where no tables remaining and you had to come back later on. Entertainment was variable, some staff engaged more with guests to get them involved, than others. Evening entertainment usually lasted 30-45 minutes and was varied. If I was to stay at Suncity again, I would request a different room, as my room was very close to all three bars and at night, it could be noisy, until past 1am, in the morning, sometimes I resorted to using ear plugs to get some sleep. The location, of the hotel, is really good, only a minute from the main strip and 5 minutes walk, from the beach. …

Just returned from a 7 night stay at suncity. Not much of a welcome on arrival, no drink offered, just a silly Form about covid and then Shown to our room. We arrived at 10pm with 3 children aged 7,5 and 1. we were put in a family basement room, which smelt as if something had died in there and had countless flies. We requested to move immediately and thankfully that was sorted within 15mins. Only the receptionist helped with one suitcase whilst my husband was left pulling 2, and 3 hand luggage’s whilst I saw to the 3 children, no other staff on hand to help. Rooms are dated, mould and marks all over the walls. Our bedding was changed once when asked, as the children got food on the sheets. Shower is powerful, Drainage terrible, the cubical floor would fill and spill over onto the floor, also the shower door was coming off its hinges so had to be careful. Towels we had to ask for, floor towels we helped ourselves from the cupboard opposite our room. We emptied our own bins at the end of everyday except 1. Mini fridge isn’t stocked, again this is left to you to grab bottles of water from the bars. Food at the hotel is ok, breakfast is probably the best meal, fresh omelette and pancakes. Service unfortunately is terrible. With 3 children wanting to try different things, the plates pilled up and most evenings weren’t cleared away, even when stacked and moved to the end of the table. Drinks aren’t offered you have to go to the bar every time you want a refil. Pool area can become extremely slippy, plenty of sun beds but we visited near to end of season. The pool water however is absolutely freezing, the sea and lagoon water was warmer. My children used the pool twice as it was just too cold. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and kept very clean and tidy. Kids play area could do with cleaning up abit, writing all over the slide/climbing frame, makes it look tacky. The hotel is in a major need of some tlc, the rooms are looking very tired and people pay a lot of money for their holidays and expect the service to match the price, unfortunately it didn’t. The hotel is situated well, close to the strip and beach. Shuttle bus to lagoon is decent, although if you don’t leave the lagoon at 12:30pm the next pick up isn’t Til 2pm and you will miss lunch at the hotel, seems like a money maker to pay and have lunch at the beach club. We spent our last savings on this holiday, and expected better standards. A lot of reviews praise the entertainment staff etc, whilst that is an important aspect of a hotel environment, that doesn’t make up for the lack of service and the condition of the rooms etc. I wouldn’t return to suncity unfortunately. Also to have more or less zero wifi in 2022 is madness. It’s difficult to stay in touch with family and to google local places you may want to visit. I’d give this hotel a 2/3*. Some refurb work and more staff on hand I think is something the owners really need to address.…

Stayed her 3 years ago and was very much looking forward to coming back! What a disappointment. we arrived after travelling for 14 hours at 1am. No welcome from reception just a Covid form to complete. It would have been nice to have been given a sandwich in a bag or some kind of snack! The porter took our cases to our room. Not a word spoken, and then lingered for a tip. We got a lovely welcome from Tweety the next morning. Our room was very tired, dingy and badly in need of an update. The bathroom had a bath and a shower above the bath. There were sliding doors enclosing the bath, leaving a small gap to get in and out of. Personally, I found it very difficult and unsafe, as there was nothing to hold on to. The food was good with plenty of variety, but always like warm. The omelettes at breakfast were hot and so was the stir fry in the evening, as they were freshly made. We checked out at 12noon, but our transfer was at 6.30pm The hotel said we could get a shower at the Turkish bath centre. When we went there it was obviously a big inconvenience for them and after a long wait, they wanted to separate me and my husband into different changing rooms. Not handy when both our clothes were in one case. Funnily enough when we had our Turkish bath and massage at the beginning of our stay we were put into the same changing room! We ended up going for a wash and getting changed in the poolside toilets. Most of the staff were very friendly and hard working. Great location. Great down at the beach club. Nice to get a transfer from the hotel with a friendly driver. Tweety was happy and jolly. The grounds looked beautiful. Please spend some money on the hotel and get it up to the high standard it was previously.…

This hotel was brilliant. Located right next to the strip and beach, surrounded by beautiful mountains. The staff are some of the nicest, friendliness people I’ve met on holiday, so accommodating and funny. Particularly the entertainment staff. I was surprised at how good the standard of their shows were, they were amazing, we were really impressed. Shout out to MJ who is lovely, very welcoming, always smiling, as are all the staff. Also shout out to Nesli and Ibrahim, both also lovely. I would definitely go back. I can’t wait to go back!

We were a family of 6 and stayed here from 29/922 to 13/10/22 the place needs updated we were on a block of 3 flights of stairs no lift me and my partner suffer with bad knees and having to climb these 3/4 times every day took it’s toll our room card never worked properly so always had trouble getting into our room reception wouldn’t give you two cards so if one of us wanted to go back to the room if we’re tired couldn’t rest as had to let the other in the bathroom is dangerous you have to step up into it and my partner fell out of it as the bottom of the shower is slippery no plastic bath mat in it our bed’s wasn’t changed only once out of two wks when you got out of the shower you needed to put footwear on as your feet ended black cleaners cleaned around the pool when you were sat there instead of before people got there we thought the place was dirty the dining area floors were never cleaned at all just swept in parts definitely will not be returning here again…
