This was a lovely place. Very clean, comfortable rooms, a wonderful pool area and cracking breakfast and food in general from the hotel restaurant. The location is perfect, just a stroll from the main strip and beach, and away from the awful, tacky tourist trap of Hisaronu (for my taste, best avoided at all costs). The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the atmosphere was very peaceful and relaxed. Speaking to locals, Mozaik seems to be well known as one of the nicest places to stay in Ölüdeniz. Minor criticism but if we went again we would ask for a room at ground level or, even better, a second-floor room with a balcony. We were placed in one of the lower apartments, which was fine but a little dungeon-like and not great for sitting outdoors in the evenings. But we spent most of the time out and about anyway. Would absolutely recommend this place.

We have had many visits to this immaculate and beautiful Hotel, having stayed in many Hotels in the vicinity, I can honestly say this must be the by far the best of them all. The staff go out of their way to make sure you have an enjoyable and pleasant time, they work around the clock ensuring every aspect of your holiday is catered for and nothing is too much trouble, not just reception & bar staff, but also the cleaners and maintenance people who make sure everything in your room is fully functioning, theres never any reason to complain, we just love it here On our last trip we stayed in the penthouse suite, which is highly recommended, the room was just perfect. The hotel has a tripadvisor certificate of excellence and it's easy to see why. We will be back in the spring and hopefully for many more years to come, thanks to everyone at the Mozaik your the the epitome of luxury and elegance.

Firstly, I cannot believe how many positive reviews are on here about this hotel and their staff! We had an awful experience having paid top dollar for the best room. Please read on and be cautious before ever booking this hotel...I have had to wait until now due to an ongoing dispute to get our money back! Me and my partner booked a ‘last holiday’ before our sole focus over the year ahead switched to saving for a mortgage and buying our first home so we decided to pay extra and book a penthouse suite which was the best room on offer at what was described as an ‘exceptional’ hotel. The hotel had won numerous awards for its rooms/service so we were really looking forward to our holiday and experiencing all of this first hand. The suite is advertised on their website as specifically for ‘special occasions’ or ‘honeymoon couples,’ so we were expecting the very best and couldn’t wait! I will now list and explain below the problems we had upon arrival and throughout our stay which were directly the opposite of what was expected/described/paid for; Jacuzzi: As part of our upgraded penthouse suite we were provided with a Jacuzzi situated on our balcony terrace which caused nothing but problems and stress from the very start. I spent so much time out of our holiday feeling very upset whilst trying to sort problems out with hotel staff, something I shouldn’t be doing whilst away on holiday in a supposedly luxurious suite. As you can see by the enclosed photos, the filter was seemingly not working correctly which caused a build up of scummy water around the filter itself and the water to be absolutely filthy. We didn’t realise until after we were sat in the Jacuzzi a while that we were bathing in disgusting water, it was only when we looked down and noticed what we were sitting in that we got out and alerted staff immediately. The water felt slimy and my partner became ill shortly after and was throwing up after inadvertently swallowing this water whilst using the Jacuzzi. Also, the Jacuzzis drainage system was clearly not working which caused our balcony area to become flooded, this was incredibly dangerous when getting in/out of the Jacuzzi or when exiting our room to try and enjoy the ‘sea view’ that was described as part of what we paid for. We didn’t realise the floor was in this state initially which caused me to slip over and hurt myself. I have a supporting video that I can send to you which shows the flooding so please let me know how I can get this to you as further evidence. Further to this, as you can see by the enclosed photos, the hotel sold this to us as having two headrests in the Jacuzzi, however there was only one, the other seemed to have been tore off and not replaced so something that was advertised to be used by two people could only be comfortably enjoyed by one, further ruining our experience together. The buttons to turn everything on weren’t working correctly either and the whole thing in general was in a state of disrepair and in need of an upgrade. I feel as though as a main feature of the upgraded penthouse room this was a massive let down. The whole situation took up the majority of our ‘break’ away by constantly having staff coming into our room spoiling our peace and quiet in a bid to resolve the constant issues but to no avail. We were obviously very upset as we were not able to enjoy the facilities we had paid extra money for. Shower: The shower in the bathroom was leaking water which was running towards where the toilet was situated which made for an unhygienic situation and a further problem for us to worry about while we were supposed to be staying in a luxurious apartment. After two or three attempts at spending time resolving this with staff it was ‘rectified’ by placing new sealant on the edge of the shower glass, why wasn’t this done before we checked in!? Although we thought it was sorted, the sealant obviously takes time to dry out before being exposed to water again and as the shower was a constant requirement it didn’t get the necessary time to set which meant it constantly leaked throughout our stay and was never fully resolved. By now we had hotel staff in our room almost all of the time which beat the object of us paying this property for a ‘holiday.’ It wasn’t a holiday, I’ve come back from the break away feeling more stressed than when I went and bitterly disappointed. Apartment lights: As you can see from the enclosed photos, two out of the four lights were not working in our bedroom and one out of the two lights wasn’t working in our kitchen area. This caused further inconvenience as we couldn’t see a great deal when we were getting ready on a night as the room was quite dark anyway without two lights being missing. We didn’t have enough light on a night in our kitchen on an evening to see properly or cook anything safely. These are basic things that shouldn’t be an issue in an expensive room. If we had paid for a two star hotel then maybe you would have to accept it as ‘one of those things’ but not in a penthouse suite of an ‘exceptional’ hotel. Air Conditioning: The enclosed photos show the air conditioning unit in our bedroom leaking and being broken on the top. My partner woke up to water dripping on her head on a night and when we came back to the room from during the day time the pillows and bedding were damp from the dripping too causing further stress and inconvenience to us both. Bathroom: There was often an unpleasant smell coming from the drains in this room which smelt like faeces. The taps were building up pressure so much so that when they were turned on hot water was spat out at us. There was clearly some kind of drainage/water problem in this suite that hadn’t been addressed for some time. Numerous chips can be seen in the bathroom floor which wasn’t described as being like this on the photos when we booked so we shouldn’t have to put up with it! Main door: One of the main concerns for me was our front door. As you can see from the enclosed photos it was damaged and not properly bolted on which left it not fully operational. It needed to be pulled so hard for us to ensure the catch clicked into place so we could lock it. Sometimes the cleaners had been in the room and we returned numerous times to find our door wide open with all of our belongings on show so they clearly had the same problem locking/shutting it as us. What a massive security breach! Speaking of security breaches – our suitcases were left by reception when we checked in and we were urged away from them promised that they will be brought in later! Our bags should never have been insisted to be left unattended by hotel staff. So unprofessional. Around the main door it felt as though our room was next to the hotels’ supplies as we were next to a vacuum storage and towel cupboard. Extra bedding and mattresses for hotel staff to use if needs be were all visible as we entered our premium room daily. Not quite the luxury experience we were after. This should have been a holiday to remember but it was so poor that I find myself lost for words. We were offered two free drinks from the bar for all of these problems so the admittance of such problems being apparent from the hotel was there, but two free drinks to apologise for a ruined holiday was an insult even more so considering a party of six people got the same gesture offered to them following a minor noise complaint. The room clearly came nowhere near as what was described and ruined what should have been an amazing and luxurious holiday experience.
