For the concept itself Selectum Luxury is for sure excellent, but for the way it’s managed from many points of view, would be poor! Stayed at Selectum Luxury between 18-31 October 2020. Waited so long to post this review in order to see how much Selectum is willing to solve a request that happened due to a fire incident within the resort, but, as after more than two months I still did not get it, there we go. The concept in simply amazing, great design, attention to details, kind, polite & always helpful staff (most of it). Check in: fast and facile, done by the Select Touch Assist assigned pending on the language you speak. During the check in process we got most of the information needed about the resort and facilities, and after the assistant Was very happy to see the bracelet-less system adopted, and also the Whatsapp group where you can easily communicate with your assistant was an amazing idea, being easy to book different things, getting the daily program etc. Guestranet: very useful for getting information about the resort, to check menus, order different things etc. the problem, it is very slow and disconnects all the time. And a dedicated app would be much better than accessing from the browser. Room: - spacious, nice design, comfortable bed. We were welcomed with love themed bed linen, sparkling wine and a heart shaped cake, perfect for our anniversary stay. Minuses: very small cabinet, no mirror in the room, very low light in the bathroom (I understand the boutique style adopted, it’s marvelous, but in the bathroom you need stronger light!). A useful smart TV with casting option (not for iOS) and bluetooth connection in order to listen to your favorite music directly from your device. The biggest disappointment was the terrace: It has a cozy jacuzzi, it’s big, with 2 proper sun beds and an umbrella, BUT you have no privacy at all!!! The only thing that was separating our terrace from our neighbor’s was a short piece of transparent glass. If I knew it was like this, I would have choose a different room type for sure. The amenities are of good quality, but if you put 6 hair conditioner and only 1 body lotion is not really helpful. Housekeeping did a great job every day, polite and helpful. - another huge minus regarding the assignment of the room: near to us was a family with a small kid, extremely noisy all the time. After they left, another one came, even worse. Dear Selectum, you should respect your guests enough to take your time to split single couples from couples with kids by floors, hotel corps, whatever. Specially that due to the pandemic the hotel was not fully booked, it would have been very easy. Even if requested for a solution, nothing happened. For couples traveling without kids, silence and relaxing moment, or a late wake up in the morning is very important. Not to speak about an afternoon nap, impossible. And not to speak about kids playing football on the hallway, or, not so educated people screaming to each other outside their rooms at 7 o’clock in the morning. - so pretty much impossible to spend quality time in the beautiful room or to enjoy the outside jacuzzi as I had kids staring how I drink my champagne etc. - internet works well and covers proper all the resort areas Food & beverage: - the main restaurant was good, food was tasty but not enough variated I would say. Still, you could always find something on your taste. The service here was not the best, most of the times late or forgetting the order - 24/7: great breakfast, pretty good menu for the rest of the day, better service than in the main restaurant - Italian a la cart: a disaster. First, one waiter for the whole restaurant is not enough. Second, most of the dishes tasteless. My risotto over cooked, my wife’s way too al dente. For the main dish we went with the beef tenderloin with gorgonzola sauce, wonderful steak but sauce was totally missing - Steak House: main dishes extremely delicious, the rest of the dishes can be improved a bit (steak tartar, soup). Went here 3 times, and every time the service was perfect, steak always cooked at the requested temperature - By the red pool terrace: tasty and enough variated - Lobby bar: good variety of drinks, nicely presented and promptly served. Same goes for the sweet corner and the coffee & tea bar - Sushi: very good, tasty & fresh - Service by the pool can be better. Just go and pick up the drinks by yourself, otherwise you might never get it - lobby bar: with a great design and a cozy terrace, was the perfect place to have a drink in the evening in a relaxed atmosphere. Also the best service was provided here, always fast, prompt and in time. Special thanks to Ali Sengül, a great waiter and person! - Coffee & tea corner, same like the sweets buffet were wonderful Pools & beach: - a huge main pool, clean and comfortable sun chairs - heated pool: bit too small, but the warm heated sea water was great for the not so warm days - red pool: outside the summer months it’s pretty much useless as half of it is under shade the whole day - inside pool: big, deep, perfect for rainy days - the beach is spacious and kept very clean and arranged - private scaffold (I think this is how they call the private bungalows on the pier) interesting, some of them with jacuzzi, nice service but pretty bad possitioned - an extra point for the card-less system for beach towels Spa: - my wife got an excellent medical massage package perfect for her back problems - the inside sea water pool was enjoyable - Oguz Savas - masseur, Millicent Odigu - Spa relations and Ahmet did an excellent job, always friendly, helpful and professional - some spa staff members are pretty lost, and doesn’t matter what language you speak, they only salute and talk in Russian! Entertainment: - outside parties always nice and fun! - the only minus would go for the music: too much Russian music. And don’t get me wrong, some of the songs are marvelous, but a more international style I believe would be more appropriate as it becomes boring at a certain moment - many thanks to Suat and Ege, always helpful and with a huge smile on their face Photo office: - scheduled a photo session and it came out great. Our designated photographer (Baha) was professional and created a relaxed atmosphere, and Max was always friendly. Prices are more than reasonable The design of the resort is marvelous. From the big automatic doors at the entrance, statues everywhere (the QR code for each statue for you to be able to find out who is there was a nice touch), flowers in the whole lobby area, the époque cars in front, the huge chandelier above the lobby bar, the hidden garden, the rooms ant to the outside area, everything looks luxuriant, clean, very well maintained and gives you the true holiday feeling. Above the minuses mentioned already, I would like to point out the way hotel management took care of us in the last evening, when a fire situation appeared in corp B, where our room was actually located. Late in the evening the electricity went down. After about 20 minutes, one staff member knocked at our door, telling us that we have to leave the room in that moment as part of the hotel was under fire. BUT no fire alarm, so a leak of safety I believe. From that moment we did not exist for our assigned Select Touch Assist Victoria which did not help us not even with an answer of what is going to happen further. Whatever, after couple of ours spend in front of the hotel, we were transferred to another resort (Selectum Family) where we literally had to stay in cold for about 4 hours. This situation caused a pretty bad zoster zone to my wife, and lots of nerves for both of us as the management literally was not able to handle the situation in a decent way. At 6 am we finally got a room, slept for couple of hours and went back to pick up our luggages as we anyway had check out in that day. Before leaving Selectum Luxury, we approached our assistant in order to express our disappointment about what happened. She redirected us to the guest relation assistant, Diana Aytas. We exposed our point of view, and, due to the incapacity of taking care of the situation, we want a refund for the last day. She assured us that she will send our request further and she will inform us about a decision in 2 days. That never happened. Contacted the guest relations via email, never got an answer. Basically, from the moment we were transferred to the other resort and left in the cold (as Selectum Family does not have a proper lobby area, bars etc - even the 24/7 restaurant is basically outside), we did not exist any more for them. I can understand things like a fire can happen, that was not the problem, but the leak of an alarm system and the leak of professionalism in managing such a situation (and I work in hotels since I was 17, had this situation and know that can be managed in a decent way) is not acceptable. And I did not ask for more than a refund of the last day, still they don’t want to assume any looses I believe, but also they don’t have the decency to give an answer to my request. Even if the answer was negative but followed by some excuses, would have been enough from my side, at least to see that they care about their guests. Now I will take my time and energy and go to court for this matter. Overall, Selectum Luxury is a great concept managed badly from too many points, and due to the above inconveniences, we will think twice before retuning, even if it remained sticked to our minds with memorable moments.

This is my first review but I considered that all the people involved and worked in Selectum Luxury Hotel deserved it. In the last 12 years I came for at least 2 weeks in Turkey and every year I tried others new 5* resorts and I must say that is the only one in which my family ( me, my wife and two dauthers 7 and 12 y.o. ) definetly wants to come back again next year. Why? We felt great despite that for one night we had to move to another hotel ( our hotel suffered a serious damage and had to close completely for some days ), but even in these though conditions they moved exceptionally and relocated us in another high class hotel ( Calista ) and we didn't feel uncomfortable at all ( maybe just with packing and unpacking ). This is happening once in a life at this level. Everything with the moving was like in the army - very profy. I have to say that all the staff smiled and gave the sensation that they loved their job. All of them are doing the best to feel you great. Even if you have some complains ( in which you are not maybe 100% right ) they solve it in a great way. Thank you Selectum Luxury! and wish you all the best! See you next year! Hopping no more COVID in the world.

AVOID this hotel if they will open after a recent fire. Hotel got on fire in the middle of the night, everyone was waken up, had to go outside in the dark hallways full of fumes and stand in the night outside for 3 hours. The child got sick after this. They reallocated to another hotel but later when contacting with the hotel about the refund all they offered was 5% discount which does not even cover 1 night at the hotel which was horrible and full of stress. Hotel management is unhelpful and completely not client oriented, so I dont know how can they run this business.

We've spent an amazing holiday at Selectum : great food, staff, extremely clean. I did not expect to have such a "normal" holiday during this pandemic. But you've made it possible: not only that everything was top quality, but we also returned home in good health. Thank you, I look forward to visit this hotel again next year.

We stayed there for one week in late March 2018 as a pack of two couples. First of all, I should clarify that whatever management is in pursuit is declared on the first page of the hotel directory and you will receive a welcome letter with your name on it originally signed by manager. - The level of cleaning and attention to its details was perfect. - Comfort is the thing that the whole Selectum is looking to provide it for their guest in all aspects. - The location of the hotel is near Belek in one of the resort areas just by the beach; in case you need to go somewhere by yourself, taxi station is nearby also you can find a minibus too which is so cheaper. - Since the hotel is very new all the facilities are good from the lifts with perfect logic to the entertainments such as table tennis and strike games plus great animation team who are so kind and helpful. Other features of facilities is well listed on reservation sites and "selectumhotels" website. - Staff are well trained and really looking forward to providing your needs, at guest relation look for HAKAN and just ask what you want, be sure that he will look for it, at different bars you can find skilled bartenders and many of them have their own cocktails !!! SULAYMAN special, OMAR #26 and many many others. As other people said you can find almost any brand at all bars followed by a good selection of bottled beers (Efes,Millers,Becks,Hieneken,Corona) - WiFi is available almost everywhere and the connection is good. In addition, I should add some other details, this was my third time of enjoying Turkish hospitality as five star all inclusive and is The Best one, when you look at “luxury” in the name of the hotel you may think it’s just a name . . . but after you experience the hotel you can find how careful they have been looking for it, from the theme of decoration which is ancient Roman style to chosen colors which is Red for most Public places luxury green for rooms shower and violet for beds and curtains and room furniture, all famous colors of luxury !!! So when there is this much of attention to details just imagine the rest of it. Food and drinks at its best; our vacation was during Belek’s low season so a la carte restaurants were out of service but I think it was so well compensated at main restaurant which is an open buffet with huge selection of continental menu, French style beautiful plates that can be called Art Masterpiece or numerous Turkish cuisines followed with different soups and wide variety of pre-made salads ends with uncountable deserts. Experienced and kind waiters will serve you perfect and cute chef welcomes you. After serve hour the restaurant was still open 24 hours with a short menu Especially I’d like to mention EMREH who was so friendly and nice to us and we really enjoyed talking to him all the time; cute, funny handsome guy we won’t forget you. At last I Do Really recommend SELECTUM to anyone who looks for real five star Turkish hospitality.
