I was here few times in my life, and this time was the same. Perfectly cleaned, everything explained nicely, really a archaeological miracle for a value of EUR. Breakfast is very nice and fresh. Rooms have all that I need. Great value.

Very nice, new place, luxury bathroom. Spacious family room with separate beds for the kids. Excellent staff. Good breakfast. Walking distance from the old town. Quiet location, parking place right there. Well worth the money!!

I liked the look of this hotel so decided to book it for as a base for Koper and the surrounding area. The original building was very old and they had modernised it with a new frontage which was very attractive. Although the hotel only has a first floor there is a lift, which is very handy for the luggage. We had the self catering suite, which was nice as a larger hotel room, but felt it was not really suitable for much cooking. The furniture in the room had come from Ikea and I felt not robust enough for hotel wear and tear, the settee was a sofa bed type and too uncomfortable to sit on for long periods. The outlook from the Hotel was not great a portwall on one side and surrounded by a car park (but this was hardly the hotel's fault) and at least it was handy for the car and the old Town was literally yards away, most of the old Town is traffic free anyway). We had to pay to park our car in the car park, but the hotel had a permit scheme and for the 5 days we were there in the end the cost was 12 euros. We had the breakfast once, which was nice but a little overpriced we thought so ate elsewhere. This is a good hotel, very close to the Town centre with easy access to the motorway network, the staff are excellent and very helpful and I liked the place.

Had a booking, my flight was delayed. I informed them and they told me that there is an extra fee for checkin after midnight, which was not mentioned on booking.com. The owner called me, being very aggresive and threatening to close the hotel. I arrived 10 minutes before midnight, everything closed, nobody answering. So if you want a place where your booking is real and not fake, stay clear of this place.

Response from Casa V, Owner at B & B Veneziana Suites & SPA
Responded Jul 31, 2019
Dear ms.Raftu, You called us at 8 in the evening on the day of your supposed arrival (2 hours before our reception closes), telling us that you couldn't arrive before midnight, to which we kindly informed you that there is a fee for a late check-in until midnight and that there is no possible check-in after that. You received the e-mail with the check-in hours not once, but twice and with the hours clearly and visibly seen on booking.com page. Firstly you talked aggressively to our receptionist, when she informed you about the extra fee - which you didn't agree on paying - and when our manager called you and tried to offer you a solution you replied to him that you didn't want us to bother you with our calls. We are very sorry that your reservation turned out badly, because we always try to help our guests in anyway that we can, but your behaviour and voice tone towards us made that impossible. With regards, Veneziana Suites & Spa

And there was an elevator to the room also. This very recent renovation is architecturally beautiful. But the real secret sauce are the wonderful hosts. They are more than happy to help you with where to go in Koper, but also elsewhere in Slovenia and island hopping in Croatia.
