From start to finish an excellent place to stay. Recently refurbished. Comfy room with all mod cons. Big modern bathroom. New air con. Staff spoke English. There is a fantastic restaurant on site and I recommend that you use it. Great food, service and price. Goood parking for my. Motorcycle. Nic breakfast
This is a little place that quite, inexpensive and located a bit outside of the town or Tomar. The service was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were in good shape and quite... Here is a rating breakdown of the room and hotel amenities and service: Customer Service: Excellent Room Cleanliness: Excellent Building Condition: Old but Well Maintained Shower Pressure & Hot Water Availability: Excellent Location: Need a car Mattress Comfort: Satisfactory Noise Level: Very Quiet Breakfast: Acceptable (lots of portions)
Bathroom nice, clean. Room dingy with dirty carpet and old slip covers on bed. Not too far from the middle of town, so, an easy drive to the Knights of Templar. Use your GPS, not the directions from the place.
We only used the restaurant, not the hotel as we were staying nearby. Fantastic welcome despite language barrier! Amazing local dishes for dinner and loads of it! The price was also excellent (€50 for 4) including drinks.
We had a lovely stay in a very comfortable, low cost room with an en suite & air con. A little Portuguese language is helpful when staying here. It is an 8 euro taxi ride to the town centre but it seamed that the faster the taxi driver drove, the cheaper the ride was!
We are budget-driven and this small hotel with parking, air conditioning free wi-fi and breakfast looked ideal. We were not disappointed. On the hottest days of the year so far (in the 40s) the air conditioning held its own. Apart from slightly quirky plumbing in the shower room, we could not fault our room, which was clean, well furnished and fully carpeted, and the bed one of the most comfortable we have encountered (and we are fussy). The continental breakfast was better than most and served at the table. The bar and restaurant are popular with locals and whilst we found the bar too brightly lit and smoky, the restaurant was the icing on the cake for us; next time we visit we will not consider eating elsewhere. I will review the restaurant separately.
