What a peaceful and beautiful setting! The hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was clean, super spacious and absolutely homey. We didn't realize that breakfast was included the next morning - so it was a pleasant and really tasty surprise! The room had aircon (with heating), DSTV and free Wifi which is a big plus! Summerhill is a great place to stay. Im not saying this lightly, as I have stayed in many many Bed and Breakfasts around the country because of golf travels. I enjoy the quiet country farm atmosphere. Wendy and Bob were friendly people and helpful, they tended to our every need. I will definitely stay there again.

The owners of this guest farm have put their own blood and sweat in making this place incredibly beautiful. Lovely and comfortable accommodation. What appealed most to me is their personal attention to each guest. And the cherry on top was the farm animals that my sons could help feed and pet. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend... My wife and I stayed for two nights in the Olive Cottage. Our hosts Bob and Wendy are very helpful, the cottage is well kept and clean. Wendy's breakfast excellent. The view of the Brandwag Moontain something to behold! Will surely visit again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay at Summerhill Guest Farm. Bob & Wendy were first rate hosts, caring, considerate and conscientious. Our two elderly Golden Retrievers received a warm welcome! A true home from home experience and a wonderful start to our holiday! Thank you!

We wanted somewhere to stay en route back to Cape Town and found Summerhill by google. What a find! Our kids (ages 9,7,5) loved it. Bob and Wendy were wonderful hosts and couldn't have been more helpful. Our kids had a great time with all the farm animals and the freedom that they were allowed. Wendy gave us a guided... More

Summerhill is a very pretty farm with beautiful gardens and a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Wendy and Bob are wonderful, friendly hosts who were willing to assist with anything. Our daughter loved all the farm animals and was thrilled to help with feeding all the animals in the morning and evening. Thank you we had a lovely stay.

Wendy and Bob are great we stayed there during the Cape Epic. Brilliant hospitality and relaxed place. Very clean and tranquil among mountains and vines, good distance from town. Tip ask Bob to make you a chicken mayonnaise sandwich.

spent a night in guest room at back of main house. I don't believe my standards are particularly high. but no opening windows and a tiny box of a room - this is not fit for paying guests. only way to get any air in sweltering night was to open outside door. I may be paranoid but I don't usually... More

I am sorry you were not happy with your room. I know your colleague was placed into our family room which is very large (unfortunately we only have one room that size) but our double rooms are all standard size and fit the requirements for Guest House rooms. It certainly is not a box of a room and neither is... More
