This family owned and run Guesthouse is the best in Stellenbosch. With Berenice at the forefront, the entire process is enjoyable from start to finish. The reservation, clean rooms, excellent breakfast, night-time parking etc. it all just gells! Thanx for Rita's stay and making her feel welcome. Highly recommended establishment.

Excellent stay in a very well kept historical building in the central part of Stellenbosch, with restaurants and shops easily reachable on foot in a few minutes. Rooms are spacious and clean, with modern bathroom facilities and quality linen. The swimming pool and garden are perfect to relax. Breakfast is gorgeous (including all sort of sliced fresh fruit). Last but...

We experienced personal service from our arrival, to the interestedness in his guests by the owner at breakfast. The beautiful antique furniture in the room was complimented by attention to small detail, e.g a small bottle of SA port as a welcome gift. The location was within walking distance of venues for the Woordfees and restaurants, in the centre of...

Caledon Villa is a cosy hotel. The owner was friendly and helpfull and the stuff also. Our room was large and everything was clean. Air condition was silence and worked well. Breakfast was diverse and very good. These four days in Caledon Villa were our best days during our two weeks trip.

We had a wonderful stay at the Caledon Villa. Beautiful historical building. Very nice host, who took the time to provide us with a tailored advice for our trips. Excellent breakfast with beautiful garden view. Nicely located near botanical garden and historical city center.

Is it possible for a place to run too smoothly ? Our stay was excellent, service great and breakfast was good. Perhaps its a function of the elderly Germanic guests who demand precision, but I just felt the guest house lacked soul. There was hardly a murmur at the well-frequented and pristine pool, breakfast was eaten in total silence and...

Friendly host and lovely swimming pool and gardens. Very old fashioned hotel which we didn't really grasp from the reviews but probably our fault. Waited 20 mins for a breakfast which was average - everything ok except the eggs which had been poached to within an inch of their lives. Air con was a small machine with an extract out...
